No Gas/Oil to Mix

Great trimmer with Black and Decker quality. I'm so happy to do away with the oil and gas in my garage. Stinky and polluting our environment. I can do my whole yard and then some. I bought a older 18v B&D at our church garage sale, and it too performs great at my river house. They are both lightweight, much lighter than my old gas trimmers.

More power than I expected

I purchased this about 2 months ago, and then had to have hand surgery. I figured I woud never be able to use it, but was I surprised. It isn't heavy, it works fast, it doesn't vibrate too much and it cust beautifully! I did have enough brain power to get an extra battery, so I am all set and I use it all the time. Took my gas power trimer and chunked it, or would have if I could have lifted it.

Reliable!

Reliable and portable which is what I was looking for. No need for giant extension Cords anymore.

Double the fun!

We bought two of these trimmers, so that we could both trim (we have two acres). But we also have grandchildren who visit and love to weed-eat and this appeared to be a great deal! Works great

First weed ever I’ve ever purchased or used. Worked very well. Battery held a charge enough to do our average sized front and back yard (30 or more minutes). Would recommend.

Excellent

I have heavy blade grass along the fence, and this cordless trimmer does a fantastic job. It lasts long enough to get my 150 foot of fence done with battery life to spare.

Broke on the 2nd day

Broke on the 2nd day and while it did work I used 3 batteries to get a 30×3 patch done. Returning it and getting a scythe. No waiting around for the battery to recharge.

Very Happy with the performance. I have been using the NICAD version of this trimmer for 10 years or so and this is my third one and first lithium type. This model is much lighter and the coverage with one battery is substantially more than the NICAD I was accustomed to. I can trim around several trees and the house for my whole 2 acres of lawn with one 20 volt 2amp battery. Love it.

As far as doing yard work this Black & Decker trimmer is an excellent workhorse for me; it takes out weeds and unwanted grass with easy. While the included battery doesn't last very long; last checked, about 25 - 30 mins of continuous operation, that is not exactly a short coming unless you have a lot of grass/weed to get rid of. B+D trimmer

Easy to put together, lightwt for smaller yard jobs. Initial charge on the battery out of the box was only about 10 min. Charged now and will try later tonight.
