What Customers Are Saying
This corded drill is a versatile and affordable power tool suitable for occasional home projects and repairs. Customers praise its good value, power, and ease of use, especially for basic tasks like drilling holes and driving screws. The drill is lightweight and comfortable to handle, with good low-speed control and ample torque. Many reviewers highlight its reliability, noting it has lasted for years through various home improvement projects. However, some have experienced quality issues like the drill breaking down or the chuck freezing after limited use. A few also found the reversing switch overly sensitive and frustrating. Overall, it is a solid, budget-friendly drill for light to moderate home use, but may not be suitable for heavy-duty or professional applications.

Would RecommendOverall a very good inexpensive utility drill. Unfortunately is doesn't seem to be variable speed so the screw bits aren't that much use.

Easy to use and muliti functional
Would RecommendThis Black and Decker drill was very easy to use, and I'm not use to power tools. I used it to put holes in the bottom of a container to plant vegetables, then to hang curtain rods. The weight was very comfortable, it was steady, and the vibration was manageable. I liked that the screw diver bit has a slot on the drill so that I don't lose it. Its also easy to change the bits to different sizes and that there easy to secure in the drill. I like that its corded and ready to go with an extension c...

Substantial power at a great price point!
Would RecommendI am a mature female who is new to DIY, home repair, furniture construction, and power tools in general. I purchased my first power tools from a large discount retailer (to keep costs minimal while exploring a new hobby). My first drill was a basic, cordless model with many positive reviews. I have become disappointed with the Li battery-powered option (at least at the lower price points) - insufficient power, drains quickly, etc. After 2 years and too many struggles (which I thought were pri...

Will come in handy
Would RecommendI purchased my first Black + Decker drill (Model 7190) in 1978. It still works fine. Just thought it would be a good idea to have a newer one on hand. Sometimes it's better to use a corded drill than a cordless drill for the higher RPM.

Saw the name Black & Decker!!
Would RecommendDependable name, good product. Glad we made this purchase!!

Good drill for the price.
Would RecommendI bought this drill for it's relatively slow speed control and ample torque. I use it for driving screws as well as drilling holes. It is getting hard to find a corded 3/8 drill that has good low speed control.

More Torque The I Expected
Would RecommendFirst use was to screw part of my deck together. Used a hex bit and buried those deck screws like an impact driver.

Decent, but not perfect corded drill/screw gun.
Would RecommendIt is a good keyless corded drill. I wish it had more screw gun features, like a torque clutch like most screw guns have, but all of those I have seen are cordless/battery driven. I was looking for something that could keep going when the battery drained and that the battery wouldn't wear out after a few years. I guess this will do, although imperfectly.

Nice just purchased over battery drills!
Would RecommendI have had two battery drills over the years. both worked well But the batteries died on both! This last project was the last straw took over 45 minutes to charge the battery and only lasted 10 mins had to drill a hole for a door knob 2 1/8".so in desperation got this for $29.95.. I have now forsaken battery drills as they pale in comprisone to this in power!I also took the 1/2" chuck off of my old dead RYOBI 18 volt HP1802M and put it on the new B&D DR260 now i have a cheap 1/2" drill that will...
