Ratings & Reviews for BLACK+DECKER 20-volt max 8-in 1.5 Ah Battery Pole Saw Battery Included , Charger Included

Pole saw works well only thing is you have to pour the oil directly on the chain.

Not Worth Bringing Home

I bought this product in October 2018 and used it 3 times. The next time I tried to use it, it wouldn't work. Two pins on two different pieces had fallen so low they wouldn't connect. Value now is $0. I have always been happy with Black and Decker products but will definitely stop and think before I buy another of their products.

5 Stars!

Our neighbors had a pole saw similar to the Black and Decker which made us want to purchase one. After looking at reviews of electric pole saws we chose the B&D! We brought it home and used it immediately. Once you start trimming you see more that you want to trim! We were trimming fools! Our yard now looks amazing. Nothing better than looking out at your yard and reaping the benefits of your labor! The only thing I would suggest is to purchase another battery to have charging while you’re usi...

Great little pruning saw.

This is a great little pruning saw. I have other B & D products, so I have backup batteries. I used it one afternoon and pruned more piles of brush than I could deal with. I went thru three batteries.

Not What Was Expected

This would not make a clean cut. Tried laying on the branch, applying a little pressure, and applying a lot of pressure. It just bounced. Checked the chain and oiled (brand new - so chain should be good). Still the same thing. Perhaps it was because I was trying to trim off branches that were ~8' from the main trunk (~1-1/2" to 2" branches). Whatever I did the saw simply bounced off the branch (and being further from the trunk the limb was also bouncing - making the cutting that much worse...

Happy with product

Perfect for our projects and I can use it without my husbands help!

Terrible

Get this if you would like to trim small branches for 3 minutes before the battery dies. This deserves no stars but that isn’t an option. Save your $ DO NOT BUY THIS!

Awesome Trimmer

Bought this to trim a few trees around my house and it definitely does the job. Plus the battery holds a decent charge but I would purchase s second battery if you have a lot of trees to trim.

Excellent trimmer for palm trees!

I used this for the first time today to trim my palm trees. It was easy to handle and worked perfectly! I used it for over an hour before I had to charge the battery. Make sure to buy lubricating oil when you purchase this item.

great price for a great saw.

This has been a great purchase. Did exactly what I needed it to do. Battery charged up quickly and lasted until our job was done.

Black+Decker Pole Pruning Saw Cordless 20vMax Lith

It got the job done! If the manufacturers would have included a self-lubrication system and somehow fixed it where the chain wouldn't so eaisily come off (in my humble opinion), this product would beat out all other competitors selling a similar yard tool. Not to mention how easy it was to charge, then attach, and or remove the battery...nice. And for the price, overall it turned out to be a best buy for me this year. So glad I made the purchase on April 2nd, 2019, it was a blessing in disguise....

Amazing

I've used this little pole saw and it has the power to handle some pretty tough jobs I have done at my home. It is great!!

Great saw

Easy to set up. Work great. Longer reach then other saws I looked at.

Review of battery powered pole type chain saw

This is a good unit. I have purchased many of the b&D tools powered with the 20 volt battery . Hence with a pocket full of batteries you can just about cut all day or work all day with any single tool. Several comments ; it would be nice if the handle and battery could be connected directly to the chainsaw head to be used as a conventional chainsaw ! A conventional drip oiler would be nice . All in all a good tool.

I’m a believer!

I had an old Remington electric pole saw that was corded but it gave up the ghost here recently. I hate to have to get out a cord and worry about where it sat while on pole cutting so I opted to go with the Black & Decker cordless one. I was skeptical about a cordless chainsaw but the Black & Decker one has been a pleasant surprise. Battery life is fair was about a 25 minute usage if you’re constantly cutting. If you’ve got a lot of trees likeI do, then you need to consider getting some additio...

B&D pole saw

Works great and easy to use. I have arthritis and have problems using my hands but with this great pole saw it make it so easy to get the work done.
