dead batteries but great warranty

Like other reviews, my box also contained two dead batteries. Fortunately, BLACK+DECKER offers an excellent warranty on their products. I contacted customer support through their website (BLACK+DECKER, not Lowes), and they immediately set up a replacement order. I received my Lowes order on the 16th and got two new batteries today (the 19th).

Tools are good , batteries not good

All tools work perfectly but batteries do not hold charge and will need replacement 20v batteries for them to work, great price for how many tools you receive but batteries are definitely NO GOOD!

2021 with dead batteries

both batteries were dead - box show 2021. Will be returning it

These are not made for heavy duty building

All are light weight , but they are great for what I need them for 😁

Black and Decker makes good quality power tools. Ive aways had good luck with them.

New units arrived with Dead battaries

The BLACK DECKER combo arrived with both dead batteries that are unable to charge and blink read as soon as you try to charge them. What a disappointment in the brand and poor quality. To make it worse, I contacted BLACK+DECKER customer service and they send you back to lowes since they unit was purchased within 30 days. Batteries are not charging

When I attempt to charge the batteries, there is a steadily flashing red light on the charger, apparently indicating the batteries are "dead"

The tools are worth $49.99 - Batteries useless

Now I know why this set was on sale for $49.99. As many others have mentioned, both included batteries would not take a charge (some really poor QC on B&Ds part). Luckily, I have other 20 B&D volt batteries to use.

Lithium Ion Batteries

The a majority of the reviews for the Black &Decker 20 Volt Max power tools can be attributed to the 5 plus year old Lithium Ion Batteries that refuse to charge straight out of the box. Batteries both dead with a 2020 date code

Called Lowes Customer Service requesting replacement batteries. Lowes wouldn't help me. They directed me to the manufacturer who led me to read the date code of 2020. The manufacturer wouldn't help me and said the battery wouldn't be under warranty even though the item was just delivered two days ago. Very disappointed in Lowes and Black and Decker. Only option is to return the item and get a refund. No replacement kits in stock.

Bad Batteries

Just got this yesterday. Neither battery will charge. The charging light just rapidly flashes red which per the manual means it's not charging and you have a bad battery. Both batteries are doing this.

Batteries are not charging

These batteries are not charging, red binking all the time event i reset them, they are not working at all.

Charger didn't work

The batteries won't charge. I'll be returning it.
