Great price but batteries problem should be fixed

Great price for combo tool set, but it came with dead batteries. This entire batch has problem with batteries that Lowes should have known. Black and decker Warrenty support sent me to Lowe’s customer service to get replacement as it was still within 30 days, Lowe’s refused to replace just dead batteries. I had to get replacement batteries from manufacturer, batteries are now working, hopefully all tools will also work

Good deal

The tool set is good for small maintenance around the house. $50 for the whole set is a steal. Lowe's services are the best.

Battery issues

Positives: fast shipping and box arrived harmlessly. Compact size and light weight of the tools. Very sturdily built and quality products of all four tools, a very good balance of weight, size and quality. Negatives: the 2 batteries included in the original box are dead out of the box, with the production year of 2020 (label indicates 2020). I cannot recharge them at all. This is a real deal breaker. Based on the reviews of others, B&D is willing to send replacements, but it is really inconven...

Batteries DOA

Circular saw cuts nice, but the two batteries are dead on arrival, and won’t charge. They were manufactured in 2021, so likely had sit idle with zero power in them on shelf for too long. I have Black & Decker batteries for my other tools, so was able to tell it was the batteries that didn’t work, otherwise it could have more time to even figure that out. They should be pulled off shelf, or else swapped with functioning batteries.

Black and decker brand still delivers good quality power tools and at Lowe’s price just couldn’t pass the opportunity to get this kit, first I thought the batteries wouldn’t deliver enough juice but they did! Great ergonomics makes this tools very usable

Great power tool set

Got an awesome deal on the power tool set. Needing something for some home projects. Its perfect but doesn't break the bank. So far the power drill and circular saw, both seems do the job. The extra battery comes in handle. Dont have to switch between tools.

Black and Decker tool set

All is good, universal battery is very convenient to use tool without interruptions. Lightweight, very easy to hold. The only inconvenience: drill is one speed only, so to drive larger screw need more torque not to damage screw.
