Ratings & Reviews for Backyard Discovery Barrington 10-ft x 10-ft Hardtop Roof Steel Gazebo

Quality Built Gazebo With Great Instructions

We invested in the 14x12 Barrington Gazebo to replace our lightweight metal and fabric gazebo. The kit came in good shape and all parts and pieces were accounted for. Amazingly, they actually give you a few spare parts in all the hardware bags, just in case!! All hardware is powder coated black and fits well together. The first problem I had was realizing that there were wooden parts INSIDE the 4 large legs. 2 of these pieces of wood were jammed in there pretty good so it took some ingenuity to ...

We haven't started assembling the gazebo yet. The delivery driver didn't call before delivery or come to our door before placing the heavy pallet in front of our garage door blocking our vehicle inside. We had to get our own help to move it out of the way.

Some Assembly Required

It took my wife and I 5 weeks to assemble, but we worked on it a leisurely pace. It's a good bit of work to put together but it came out really nice. Power tools are HIGHLY recommended, and you have to use your common sense as the instructions are a little fuzzy in certain steps. But overall a good experience and the end product is great/

Great service Great quality

Quality product and Great service!

Highly Recommend! Beautiful gazebo!

After a lot of research, reading thru reviews, watching videos, decided to buy the Barrington 12x12 gazebo. Best decision ever! It’s a beautiful addition to my backyard. Here in the Arizona heat needed more shade. Took two half days and 5 people (family, friends, and neighbors. Highly recommend you set up day before the build. I set up the parts according to numerical part number, stacked and taped part number to identify each stack. This helped keep things in order, no bending over to look for ...

Love our Gazebo - and its strength

Bought the gazebo last spring and enjoyed it all summer. Fast forward to spring 2025 and a EF2s tornado came through. Uprooted all our large oak and hickory trees but our gazebo stood tall and strong. Not a scratch. I can't reccommend this product enough.

It's cool

I bought this 16x12 Barrington for its style and guarantees with the wind and weight load. Most gazebos, I noticed my research, are only rated for half the wind and weight load of this one. It came palletized in six boxes. You need a large area to spread everything out to make sense of the parts. There were two pieces of wood that were damaged in the box, but the company immediately replaced same within a couple days without a problem. I did need two other people to attach the legs to the fr...

Terrible Quality

I have never been so frustrated with the material of wood and cuts that are provided in this kit. This thing has been an absolute nightmare to put together.

Great purchase from day one

We got delivery in October and enjoyed it from the first day it was completed. My son, son-in-law, and a friend put it together. The parts are well marked making the build much easier than expected. Cedar is good quality making the Back Yard Discovery Gazebo a beautiful addition to our property. The only drawback is winter! 🥶 Can’t wait until spring so we can get back to enjoying our Back Yard Discovery Gazebo!

Beautiful! Great quality control!

We needed something to cover our sauna and cold plunge, this 14 x 12 gazebo fit perfectly! Absolutely NO missing parts and extra bolts and screws. Easy directions to follow. Great construction design to make a very strong stable gazebo!

16 x12 Barrington

I bought this unit in the late fall of 2024. I will be putting another coat of stain and clear coat before assembly in the spring when the weather is a little more conducive! Until then, shown here, it's tucked in the corner of my garage.

Perfect Grilling Station

This is a great addition to my backyard. I call it my cook station. It has been so nice to be able to grill after sundown and on those rainy days. That said. This Gazebo is very well made and should last for many years. The only thing that would make it perfect is a gutter system.

My Gazebo!

I bought this as a 50th Anniversary present to us. It was a Very Rough Year for my husband and I. I was diagnosed with breast cancer end of August and before I could plan my recovery, my husband and I got Covid and the day after Thanksgiving he had a stroke. There went my Caregiver! After 12rounds of Chemo and 20 rounds of radiation and 17 infusions which ended exactly one year our children put this beautiful Gazebo together for us before we headed down to Florida for the winter. We haven’t ...

Cannot wait for Summer!

We purchased this and it was put together in November, and because we live in Michigan we have not been able to enjoy it fully as of yet. I cannot wait to hang some outdoor blinds to it and to hang a fan and string some lights around it.

Very attractive

Very attractive gazebo. We’ve received many compliments.

Beautiful Gazebo

Bought for my side yard, very nice coverage

Doubled Down - Excellent Quality

Bought the 20X12 and liked it so much that we bought another 16x12.

Outside Oasis!

We’re so happy that we decided to buy and install the larger gazebo. We love being outside under cover, with family and friends, (especially streaming sports in the evening)

Perfect fit, the yard has been elevated

Purchased and had installed before summer season, I am looking forward to purchasing a second gazebo in 2025

Beautiful Gazebo!

We bought this in the spring to replace an old gazebo. My husband and I put it together in about 2 1/2 days. We took our time and had only some difficulty when putting some of the pieces up at the end (needed an extra hand from another person). It's a great gazebo - very happy with our purchase.
