Ratings & Reviews for Backyard Discovery Spruce Hollow Swing Set Residential Wood Playset

The playhouse underneath is perfect!

It always seems like such a waste of space underneath I love the playhouse on this one! Very sturdy and was easy to put together. Great set for all ages.

Love it

Product was nice, free shipping, and I love the option to pay for installation as it is 1 less thing for me to worry about. The installer assigned to me was great at his job and did an awesome job. Left everything clean and looking like a professional installation.

Playground

Great price, easy to put together (did it by myself). Instructions are easy to follow. Grandchildren really enjoy it. Definitely recommend it.

Very nice playground for small children

The playground arrived very quickly. There are a WHOLE lot of parts. Particularly hardware! Assembly took an entire day. Pretty straightforward with the instructions. Hardest part is locating the specific hardware for each piece. Being cedar wood, it is very soft and easy to over tighten hardware. I would not expect this to hold up well to larger children. My son, 185 pounds, was concerned with standing on the floor to install the roof. It did give a little under his weight. Overall it is a litt...

Great product and looks great.

We were happy with the product but we had major problems with the install process.

Grandkids Playground

Bought Swing Set one week before grandchildren arrived, put it together in no time. Love the fact that all pieces are numbered and hardware is included. Instructions are very easy to follow.

Lots of features

My daughter (toddler) loves this set. I love that it allows for different types of play - both physical and creative. This was the only set I found combining a climbing wall, swings, slide, kitchen, clubhouse. Not to mention that it looks beautiful in the backyard.

My son loves it!

Took grandpa a few hours a day over 5 days to assemble this by himself. He’s an engineer, so he made sure to follow f no directions to the letter. He said some of them weren’t in an order that made sense, but not a problem! My son loves it! My suggestion for an improvement would be to add floor boards for the bottom of the play fort. My only complaints are that the bottom of the slide and the pretend sink both hold water when it rains. I ended up taking the sink out rather than continuing to cle...

A perfect fit!

Purchased for my niece and nephew (ages 5 and 3) as a gift. They have enjoyed countless hours on this play set! They refer to it as “going to the park”, as it provides all the features they enjoy at the park, including swings, a slide, a rock wall,, and so much more! This play set was the perfect size for a smaller backyard. Very pleased with the purchase!

Kids love it

I bought this set and assembled it 6 months ago. It was pretty easy to assemble and it has stood up to all the insanity my kids have thrown at it.

Amazing play set!!!

After lots of research I decided to go with Backyard Discovery. The features, cost and option for assembly was huge! The quality of the play set is great, I would strongly recommend paying for assembly.

Backyard Discovery Canyon Creek Swingset

Purchased for my 5 year old granddaughter and she loves it! Always swinging and cooking up a storm when we visit.

Canyon Creek

My grandsons play on this every day! So much enjoyment and love to watch.

Beautiful swingset

We got the swingset for the summer. So far it’s holding up. The kids really enjoy it. It doesn’t seem to be very strong if a lot of kids or older kids are on it at once. The steering wheel and sink piece fell off right away. But the kids like using it and it doubles as a little table and bench.

Lots of options for any size yard!

We set up our play structure three months ago and the kids play on it every day!

Swing set

It took us about a day and a half. Laid out the pieces and used the app "bilt" to give us step by step instructions with pictures. My daughter (1.5 yr old) loves it! There were a couple pieces that had damage areas, but overall good quality.

Perfect!

This was a gift for my 2 year olds birthday. She loves playing on it every evening and all kids ages up to 7/8 have enjoyed playing in it! Pretty easy to put together also.

Great Playset for my Littles

I bought this for my two sons (3 and 9 months). Everyone was telling me it would be difficult to assemble but its was not. They must have had other brands of swing sets. We used the built app and got it done in two evenings. there were only a select few times we need two people to lift/move everything. My 3 year old loves it and we swapped out one of the swings for a baby swing (super easy).

Great Playground Set

We bought this in the spring and our grands have LOVED playing on it. We treated it with water seal and know that this will need to happen each year to preserve it. There were LOTS of pieces and it took some time to assemble, but everything was included.

Great, sturdy playset

We love this playset. Communication was seamless and we had it delivered and assembled. It's perfect for my 3 kids and any kids that come over to play, hours of fun!
