Ratings & Reviews for Backyard Discovery Spruce Hollow Swing Set Residential Wood Playset

Great for the kids!

I bought this almost a year ago and our 2 year old absolutely loves playing with it. Everyday the weather is nice she is swinging from it. The slide and the rock wall have become more of a hit lately. My only recommendations and suggestions are to make sure it sits level and be careful letting older, reckless kids on it. Although it is mainly sturdy, the wood may not withstand bigger kids jumping and kicking. It makes us nervous. Also, even though this is the first year we are about to stain it ...

Perfect

Three year old grandson loves it! The assembly was was pretty overwhelming but worth it.

We love it but the quality could be improved

We absolutely love this swingset and the instructions on the app were wonderful! Only issue is some of the pieces just cracked the minute you put a screw in it so I have to deal with a warranty claim but other than that it is wonderful!

Hours of fun!

I got this swing set as a 2nd birthday/Christmas gift for my son, and he won't stop playing on it. The climbing wall is a little much for him yet, but he'll grow into it soon. While he loves the slide, steering wheel and spyglass, his favorite is definitely the little kitchen and grill. He loves serving us hot dogs and "cooking" for us. Since we put out set on the ground/grass, we put smooth rocks inside the kitchen so that it wouldn't get all muddy when it rains. Every time he sees it out the w...

Smooth fast shipping

Can't wait for kids to enjoy this play structure. Customer service was timely with responding to questions before ordering. Delivery was smooth and quick. About to assemble.

Looks Great and the Kids LOVE

I bought this last spring when my husband was away at the fire academy. I was looking for a swingset that provided hours of play for my kiddos and this did just that! The boys LOVE being able to use chalk on the chalk board and on all the black side pieces. My oldest also LOVED the bungee swing - total fave. All around recommend!

Easy to put together, takes some time, but love it

Our playset turned out great! Our son loves it. My husband and I put it together ourselves. I'd say it took approximately 12-15 hours total and that was over the span of 3 days. We did spend 8 hours straight on it the first day and got the bulk of the building parts put together. My husband then finished the details and roof by himself over the next two days after work. The instructions were easy to follow but we did have a little issue starting off. We didn't realize/notice the many different h...

Canyon Creek is a great play set

I really enjoyed construction the canyon creek play set for our kids. It was a long process but it’s finally done. Did it myself with some instructional guidance from my wife and it probably took 25 hours over the course of 5 weeks. Work, life, etc got in the way but the BILT app is so helpful and the steps are not very extensive. Not many tools are truly needed to get this done. I used my power screwdriver/drill the entire time it felt like. 3 swing system is great for young toddlers who strugg...

Grandson Loves It!

I bought this Canyon Creek Swing Set two months ago for our 3 1/2 year old grandson. He loves it! He was immediately so creative, offering his chef creations to the family! First thing in the morning he was ready to play! We are very pleased. I called before purchasing online. They were very helpful. Delivery and build went well. Thank you!

Fun for the whole family!

Purchased two months ago and our family absolutely love this set!

The perfect buy!

I bought this for my son for his 3rd birthday and it was like waking up Christmas morning excitement. He ran as fast as he could outside and if he had it his way he would stay outside 24/7 playing on it. It took about 3 days to assemble but that’s just working on it a 3-4 hours in the evening since I work during the day. We love our play set and it’s the perfect addition to our backyard fun!

Daughter loves it!!

I bought this swing set a couple months ago. The BILT app was very helpful in putting this together. The only real issue we had was it was missing screws and split washers. My toddler couldn’t wait for it to be finished so she could play and she loves it.

Great playset

Easy assembly and quality product

Kids love it!

It took a long time to put together. Now that’s it done, I’m happy with it and my kids love it.

Just what we needed!

We’ve had our Canyon Creek set for almost six months now. I’d say if you have the room, take out all of the pieces and line them up. Make sure they all look good before starting. We had a few that needed replacement and they got them to us quickly no questions asked. My husband and I set it up in a day and a half working at a pretty good pace. I think having too many people to help could get overly complicated. Anyways, my daughter loves it! She loves playing with the bbq and swinging. Glad we h...

Endless backyard fun!

Bought the canyon creek model because it had so many fun features! A ladder and rock climbing wall, and a slide. A steering wheel for “driving the boat” and a telescope for trying to find the rocket ships landing on the moon. Don’t forget the kitchen, grill and “patio seating”, great for playing restaurant. We worried this might be a passing novelty and the kids might lose interest, but this has been, hands down, the best purchase we’ve made for them. We also love that it’s not huge. We want...

My kids love this!

I have a one year old and three year old, we got this swingset for their birthdays this year and both kids love it! My three year and all his neighbor friends have played in it every day since the day we set it up. So many great features but doesn’t take up a lot of room. Also very aesthetic and looks great next to our house. We are very happy and our kiddos are even happier!

Great swing set

It’s a wonderful swing set and my toddler loves it. The only issue I have is that it was missing screws and washers.

5 stars!

Every part of this experience is 5 stars. Seamless delivery, nice and responsive customer service, quality materials, safe build, and my 2 year old loves it. It took my husband the weekend to build by himself, and the whole time he commented about how solid it felt. And not only does my son adore it, but it also is a really nice look and adds to the aesthetic of the backyard because of the really nice materials. All in all, definitely 5 stars.

this app made this whole so easy.

Good looking playground. Smaller than I had pictured. But hey, it’s for kids not adults.
