Ratings & Reviews for Backyard Discovery Fall River Wooden Swing Set Residential Wood Playset

Just wonderful!!

We love it! Pain to put together but that’s to be expected. My son (who is 2) adores this playplace! It’s great material and came together perfectly. No missing or broken pieces. I would def recommend this company and this exact playplace!

Swing set and large playhouse

I’m 60 and a woman and built 2 structures on my own

Nice, but flawed

It is a nice looking set, to be sure, but we had a few grievances with it. One of the boards was damaged in the box and it didn’t come with spare hardware. A bolt broke while installing and we had to scour our garage for a suitable replacement piece. The top coating on the darker wood has peeled off in some places. It creaks and wobbles when my 3 year old swings, despite the anchor rods being placed. The swings are so low they nearly touch the ground. Also took three adults a day and a half to a...

very clear instructions

Very clear instructions and easy to follow. I’m very impressed with the 3D image and how you can operate to see from other angles. Very clever

Great Swing Set

I am very happy with this swing set! My toddler is able to climb the ladder easily and the slide feels really safe, which is awesome. I can sit back and relax while he plays. I also appreciate that it included ground stakes to secure it. I purchased some separately but they aren't needed. It looks great in my yard and I'm very happy. *Toddler swing pictured was a separate purchase, it attached easily.

Great fun for the kids!

This was a great buy for my 2 young kids! Not too big and was fairly easy to put together!

Nice Set

I think this is a nice swingset for young kids. It is big enough for 3 swings but still pretty compact. The fort is cool.

Perfect Swingset!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always wanted a swing set for my girls, but our backyard is on the smaller side. I came across this one and went for it. It's perfect! Not too big, not too small and has already provided so much fun for both of my girls - age 3 and 1. It's also nice to have some quick outside fun right outside after dinner or in the morning or if they are home sick and we want to avoid playgrounds. I could not be happier with my purchase!

Easier to Build Than I Thought!

Took two days, but my husband and I paced ourselves since we’re both 65+. I thought the slide would be a challenge, but it easily went together. Time consuming, but overall a good product. Most importantly, SORT THE THE WOOD AND THE HARDWARE AND DON’T TRY TO RUSH IT! Makes it so much smoother to assemble. Didn’t realize it was made in Pittsburg, Kansas our neighbors to the north.

Great product for the price!

The set was easy to put together. The pieces fit together as they should and all the holes were drilled perfectly where they should be. The quality was good for the price paid. The app made it a snap to assemble.

Very good swing set

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very good swing set and awesome customer service

Giving away after 10 years of use!

I had purchased this set in 2012 when my son was only 2. Now, 10 years later, it's still pretty sturdy and is going to it's new home today for hopefully years more. To anyone wondering if it's worth it, yes!! As long as you are willing to refinish it and take care of it as needed, this set will last you longer than expected! Thank you!

Lakewood Swing Set

This swing set is perfect for our two year old and his pals. I will say, it’s not necessarily strong enough for adults to play on, but that’s not what it’s meant for. We had a professional put it together, by himself, in 3.5 hours. Oh! And the shipping was also very quick! We ordered it on a Sunday, and it was delivered on Friday!

Quality swingset

As with any wood there are small defects but overall a great swingset. A couple of the darker pieces the coating was peeling, revealing the lighter wood underneath but solid materials. Great that it comes with some extra screws/bolts for when you eventually lose one or two. Instructions are easy to follow.

Reliable Company

Backyard Discovery is very enjoyable to work with. Their play set is good quality and the color is accurate. We have a 5 and 3 year old and both can plan on this playset independently. Our 5 year old will outgrow the swing soon or he’ll just have to not swing his highest. But right now it’s great and the height of the stairs is what we wanted for safe independent play in the backyard. I would definitely use them again and highly recommend them as a reliable quality company. GoConfigure also was ...

Assembly

We gifted our children this set for Christmas and they are in love. The set was easy to put together with assistance from the BILT app. Two pieces that were not essential to the integrity of the structure were destroyed in the box but we moved forward without them because we wanted this done by Christmas. I recommend doing a better job with packaging and labeling each pieces. There were a lot of pieces with faded, hard to read labels. Also, a lot of the pieces were splitting when you start to sc...

Didn’t know what we were missing out on!

From customer support to the delivery. Everything is amazing. My kids love it! Such a great price and product.

Love it!

We bought this a month ago. Shipping was quick! It arrived in less than a week! Assembly was challenging but doable with 2 people at least. One of the pieces was cut wrong, so we had to cut it down to fit properly. Other then that, it’s a great swing set and perfect for our small backyard. Very sturdy too!
