Ratings & Reviews for Backyard Discovery Arcadia 12-ft x 9-ft Hardtop Roof Steel Gazebo

Christmas Preset

I bought this to surprise my husband, and he was surprised. Since we live in Michigan we have not assembled this yet. From my reviews it looked to be the best for what we needed. Won't be assembled until spring.

We love our Backyard Discovery Grill Gazebo XL

Our Backyard Discovery Grill Gazebo XL is perfect for covering our pellet grill and soon to be added retro ice chest. It's sturdy and is screwed into the concrete which is important since we live at the top of a hill where we get high wind gusts. My husband added lighting to it which I love. Unfortunately, because of the location, we did not have room to include the side panels for seating. It's perfect for what we needed for a small outdoor kitchen area, providing shade and shelter from the rai...

Tiki Hut

Bought for Summer 2024 and turned it into our Tiki Hut. It has been a lot of fun. We can sit under it or roll the grill up under it. We have really enjoyed it.

Grill master station?

We bought this as the as the starting piece to build our dream, backyard in our first home together. We love the aesthetics, versatility, durability, and, functionality. It’s quickly become a gathering place with friends and family..

Beyond Expectations.

It is always nice to get a little more than you paid for. This gazebo looks excellent and is very functional. It is a lovely addition to our backyard and well worth the money spent. The wood and hardware are exceptional, and the instructions are easy to follow.

Solid and gorgeous - Took professionals 4 days to build

The assembly company offered on the website does not have any PNW crews so I had to hire my own. I had 4 guys on the first day and 2 guys for an additional 3 days, working full 8-9 hour days. They were carpenters who did excellent work, it just took a really long time. The finished carport looks outstanding.

This thing is awesome

Not only does it look great but it’s a perfect size. I had been on the fence about buying for awhile because of the price but I’m glad I finally did. It is very heavy and the materials are quality. The shipment and packaging were well done. It is definitely a 2 person build, so plan accordingly. It took my father-in-law and I about 4 hours to assemble (and we are both pretty handy).

Amazing

This gazebo looks amazing in our back yard, fits our needs perfectly with all its features, beautiful

Great Gazebo

We did not rush the assembly, and did it in 2 weekends. Treated all the wood before assembly, only to-do now is finish the tiles and purchase some chairs. Now the grill has a house that looks great.

Great product and so easy to assemble

Love this grill gazebo!!! Can't wait for spring, summer and fall to use it. So easy to assemble. My mother in her 80s read the instructions and sorted the hardware while I assembled the gazebo.

Awesome Gazebo/Pergola

We purchased two of them with the assembly services included. We joined them side by side against the house wall making a great 40'x9.5 shaded space in the backyard. Because we bolted them to the wall we were able to remove 2 columns (house side). The space looks great, and has transformed our backyard. We now eat there all the time with family and friends. We stained it (clear stain) to give it more protection against the weather. We also added a fan and string lights which make it look even ...

Just what we wanted

We got 2 of them and put them side by side on cinder block columns. They look great. Middle column isn't a big issue since we can pull forward far enough to open the door.

Perfect size & built to last

We bought this gazebo a few months ago and absolutely love it! It was relatively easy to assemble and is made of high quality, durable material. It was the perfect addition to the backyard. We spend almost every evening out back enjoying the gazebo! It's also very easy to accessorize. We love it and highly recommend it!

Great Product

It added so much to my backyard! It’s my party and relaxation zone! I love it!

Great looking Grill Gazebo

We purchased this grill gazebo in October. We decided to pour a concrete pad to put it on, so we didn't compete the assembly until the end of November. The instructions were simple to follow and my husband and I were able to assemble by ourselves, and we are in our 60's! The quality of everything was top notch and we are thrilled with how it looks. We are anxious to move our grill and new smoker under roof, but think we'll wait until the temperatures get a little warmer than 30 degrees!

Another quality product from BD

Great addition, with a few nit picks: The cord for the power strip was too short. The roof trim is easily “tweaked”, making it hard to lay flat. A few of the barrel nuts had threads that needed cleaned up. The finish is much darker than I expected, but it works on my deck. Overall very pleased and happy to get my grill out of the Western Washington weather!

Gazebo turned into a Tiki Bar

This has to be my best purchase ever . We decided to stain it and make it more inviting with netting, parrots, lights and music. Recommend it. I built it by myself.

I finally have a great grilling cover!

I was planning on designing and building my own covered grilling / smoking area, but I have been "planning" for 4 years now, and somehow never got around to it. Then I saw an ad for the Saxony XL Gazebo and it was exactly what I wanted to build. I finally decided to go ahead and buy this kit and am very happy that I did! The hardest part of this project for me was the site preparation. I had to clear out old landscaping and run electrical wiring for a smoker and lights. Then I installed pavers ...

Beautiful Addition to the House

Just absolutely loved the entire experience with this carport. I knew it was going to be a challenge because of the grade where I wanted to place it. There is a good 15" drop from one corner to the opposite corner. Since the posts are hollow I decided to modify the bottoms. I first dug the required holes and filled them with concrete. Then I accurately measured the drop from the highest point to all the other post slabs. I then used 4x4 and 2x8 pressure treated wood to build inserts. I add...

fancy & comfy

it makes your patio looks really fancy, and you can even hang a hammock. we love it.
