Ratings & Reviews for Backyard Discovery Arcadia 12-ft x 9-ft Hardtop Roof Steel Gazebo

Perfect addition to the patio

We have a nice patio that was wide open. With all the rain we've had it was a pain bringing the dogs in was a mess. This gives us a nice dry area. It is very sturdy. The post aren't solid wood, but are heavy. The roof has assembled 2 x 4s sandwiched together with a metal strip in the middle for stability. We are very please with it.

12 x 9.5 Arcadia gazebo

I’ve had it up for about a month now it’s fantastic. It fit perfectly. The directions were easy to read and understand. I had a couple guys put it together for me. They had no issues with it. The only thing is if you guys advised us before we put it up to seal the wood, would’ve made it a heck of a lot easier in sealing it.

Arrived Damaged & No Helpful or Fair Resolution

Purchased this in April 2025. It arrived with many significant cracks that remain concerning (One photo included below). Called customer service, and, sadly, they normalized and minimized the cracks and gave unhelpful options for resolution - which was pretty much wait for the product to fail and then contact us for parts. This has NEVER sat well, as we REMAIN concerned about quality and safety of the product which reduces our ability to enjoy the product. We don’t feel the matter was handled...

difficult to assemble

I recently completed erecting this gazebo and I found it to be more difficult to assemble than I thought it would be. I felt that the hardware could have been more simplified being too many different parts and assembling the wood to coincide with it became a chore. I would highly recommend the lay person not attempting to do it yourself.

Do NOT buy as a carport

I purchased this kit as a carport and my SUV is about 8 feet too long. I really should have looked at the measurements but the product marketing picture is extremely misleading showing the two vehicles parked underneath and covered nicely. It is beautiful as assembled but I am now going to pay quite a bit more to extend it so my car will fit. Lesson learned, don’t rely on the picture before you purchase. If you have a little Smartcar (do they make those anymore?) it would fit just fine!

Arcadia 12x14

The product itself is great. Easy assembly and good quality wood. I wish I would have stained each piece individually before assembling vs waiting until assemble was complete My issue is with Lowe’s; Early May the price was $2499 thinking I’d get a better price during Lowes member days, I waited until May 11, 2025 to purchase. I went to the store to order and the price had increased to $2799. I asked about the price increase and was shut down. I ordered it anyway at 2799 After member days end...

Love this grillzebo! great features and well made

we assembled this ourselves which was very easy,

Great looking

Beautiful addition to our new patio! The gazebo is well made (putting it together was a bit of a process but worth it!). Color, finish, size (we have a gas grill and smoker underneath it with room to spare). Have not yet found stools for it but can’t wait to order some to finish it off.

Huge project! Review is worth the read..

Very nice piece for your property! Website offers someone to put it together for you for an expensive price. Honestly this project was over whelming coming out of the box.. full table of hardware (nuts, washers and bolts) 2 tarps full of pieces to assemble. Having it together and knowing what I know now I’d pay to have it put together unless you have a solid week of nothing to do… us 2 men got it put together in 4 sun up to sun down days… The app to use to build this is absolutely awesome...

River

Nice addition at our river house with grill gazebo in back ground

6/10

Instructions were not 100% correct. It was missing a step or tow that’s in the book. I was also missing some hardware.

Grill Gazebo Challenge

Gazebo is well made but the packaging is circumvent since parts were stuffed inside the gazebo legs. Unfortunately we didn't discover this until it was nearly completely assembled.

Sturdy and nice addition to yard.

Great product, excellent instructions. It took 6.hrs to assemble by myself!!

Saxony xl Grill Gazebo

The Saxony XL is a fantastic gazebo! The quality of the materials is incredible. The lumber is excellent quality, the fasteners are very strong, and all comes very efficiently and safely packaged. The instructions are exceptionally detailed. While rekatively easy to assemble, it does take 2 people, 3 is best when lifting the roof. We used a sealer on all wood components before assembling and allowed ample time to dry. I would have absolutely no hesitation recommending the Saxony XL Grill Gazebo...

Built it a bit differently

I would recommend this gazebo. All was well labeled and instructions were very clear. However, I mounted the roof panel after the frame was up and secured. If would have been too heavy for my wife and I to lift. We are seniors and it work out better that way for us

Unironically Loved this Build

I legitimately enjoyed this build! The app made it so much easier, but the real star of the show is the materials and hardware! You get more than enough (we all lose a few screws) and its quality parts!

Gazebo review

This was a very nice purchase. Been out side everyday since buying!!!

Excellent addition to our patio

This is the 5tth Arcadia Gazebo I have built. The first 4 for our business and I liked them so much I had to have one for myself.

Love my new gazebo

Purchased this unit on a Saturday morning, by Sunday afternoon I had been notified it was already in transit, Monday morning I was notified it was in town, and by Wednesday afternoon it was in my driveway. Never got notified it was being delivered, it just showed up. I was able to assemble and get it completed in 20 hrs. including staining and protecting the woodwork, I would highly recommend sorting, inventorying, staining and waterproofing before you start assembly, assembly was not difficul...

Solid Structure

Bought about a month ago and put it together in an afternoon. We are extremely pleased so far.
