Beautiful and sturdy pergola

We just got it put together and it is perfect. Excellent quality!! We looked at several brands and decided on this one.

Love them so much, we bought 5 of them!

We bought 5 - 20x10 Sarasota Steel Louvered Pergolas and put them up on our beer garden patio. The first one took us just over two days to assemble, but we became experts and erected the next four in under two days total. We had one faulty part and Backyard Discovery overnighted the part to us and we were able to complete the project the next day. They even followed up with us on how things were going. Quality is top notch and the service response was even better.

Nice, sturdy louvered pergola for reasonable price

This pergola was purchased 6 weeks ago, and so far, we are very satisfied with the effect on our patio and the overall quality of the product. It was worth paying to have it assembled, due to a lack of time, and other family priorities. It was completely set up within 4 hours, which would've taken us days. Outside of blowing rain, it stays dry underneath as advertised. The pergola is easy to open and close, and the electric/charging port is a nice added feature for lighting, phone charging, etc....

Hopeful for a solution

We have had this pergola for about 9 months. The product is very sturdy and nice looking. We love it as long as it is not raining. But we bought it because they boast about full coverage from rain. We have very nice/expensive outdoor furniture with nice upholstery that gets soaked EVERY SINGLE TIME it rains. We cleaned out the tracks and gutters which was not that dirty and it still soaks the furniture. This is a a lot of money, HARD WORK, and more money for installation to have to put up with t...

help with leak.

I bought 10x18 louvered pergola purposely to fit our deck. It looks great but the 18 foot length is probably a bit to long for the way it is made. It does dip in the middle of the gutter and the water flows out of the gutter onto the deck and now TV. I have tried to put shims under one side pillar to help the flow of water but the middle still leaks. How can I address this issue?

As good as it gets!!!

Delivered May 12 all parts included and no damage. 4 heavy duty boxes. Took 2 of us a total of 22 hours. Got the beams up first day and finished the rest the next day. We took our time and used the manual as well as the BLIT app. The directions are very good. I attached to my deck and used a couple of 2 by 10 between and attached to my jost. Then used 5 inch 3/8 bolts to fasten it. It's not going to go anywhere. Really love how everything turned out and this is one solid structure, well...

High quality, looks great and, easy to assemble

Bought and installed May of 2025. Took me and a buddy about 3.5 hours to fully assemble. We noted that some paint had been damaged during transport, but otherwise all parts, hardware, and assembly tools were there. Given all the rain we've been having, it was perfect weather to put the folding louvers to the test - needless to say, we grilled and chilled uninterrupted by mother nature. My only concern is the linkage for opening and close the louvers; but time will tell if it holds up.

Just put together, here is how it went......

Product is quality....all pieces came wrapped in plastic and are flawless in finish....4 boxes. 1 & 2 are the structure and 3 & 4 are the slats....hardware is blister wrapped with easy identifiers and plenty of extra pieces of each and several drive bits included...direction book was awesome, with detailed drawings and clear instructions, every step was detailed.....I constructed 90% of it myself with just some additional help to stand it up and add the 2 end pieces, once up, 1 person can comple...

Beautiful and sturdy!

We set it up in one day and it is beautiful and very solid. We anchored it to a concrete pad. The instructions were easy to follow and we just love our new space.

the instructions from scanning the QR code didnt match the pergola that i purchased. Also, there needs to be a place to store the handle that opens louveres.

Great Pergola!

I bought this a month ago. Sturdy and I like the retractable feature. Steel and black adds to the concrete patio. I can have a good outdoor time without worrying the direct sun. I can have half sun and half shade! I can have a good time during rain without getting wet. Love the summer rain time. Kids love it. Highly recommended.
