Ratings & Reviews for Backyard Discovery Trenton 12-ft W x 16-ft L x 7-ft 6-in H Black Metal Freestanding Pergola with Canopy

Resort backyard

This pergola is such a perfect addition to turn your outdoor space into a resort-like feel! It is so sturdy and very well made. It only required 2 people for set up and took about 8 hours. We love our new pergola!

Better than expected!

I bought this pergola a few months and finally got it put up a few weeks ago. Overall, great purchase and definitely worth the money! The great: 1) looks just as I envisioned in our yard. 2) very sturdy—a few days after anchoring it we got severe weather with 90mph+ winds in the yard and this pergola survived! 3) super easy to put together, the pieces all aligned, and the instructions were very clear. The not-so-great: 1) the tarp was practically useless. We live in a windy area and ...

Beautiful Pergola!

I recently bought this pergola here and managed to mount it all by myself in just two evenings and a Saturday morning and it looks beautiful and sturdy. I couldn't be happier

Assembly and outcomes: worth the effort!

Took about 5 or 6 hours for 3 fairly capable adults to assemble. Very sturdy. Be careful assembling the horizontal joists to align holes. We had 4 middle screws (2 on opposite long sides) that we couldn’t get in because the holes weren’t perfectly aligned. Didn’t seem to impact stability. A magnetic screwdriver would be helpful bc there’s a step where the screws can fall into joists & become unretrievable. Last tip, don’t forget to place the plastic corner covers (cosmetic feature) before you jo...

YOU NEED THE Trenton 12 x 10 Pergola

This Pergola brought life to our backyard. Very sleek and modern. I would highly recommend this product to anyone. Shipping took a little bit but the wait was worth it.

We love it!

It's so gorgeous and great quality! It took my husband about a total of 13-15 hours to build it You can do most of it with one person but it helps to have a second for the little things and you definitely need at least two people when putting the 4 top posts in. We added some solar shades to the sides and it's perfect now. The material it comes with for the top seems durable as well and blocks out a lot of direct sun.

Looks like part of our house!

Very happy with the look and quality!

Perfect Pergoal to Purchase

I couldn't be more pleased with this pergola. It was excellent in every way. For starters, installation was very easy. The provided manual plus the app with 3D instructions made the process simple. It's a big project but I got five friends to come over and we spent the night before assembling all the parts and then put the whole thing up in a couple of hours. All the parts were well marked, high quality, and assembled as instructed. It's really cool that the parts all come in bags with the par...

Loving my “in style” pergola!

My husband and I were looking for a pergola but they all looked the same until we saw this one!! It’s fits our modern style and compliments our black and White house! I couldn’t wait for it to come and it’s exceeded all expectations! Love this new addition to our backyard entertainment area!

Great for our sunny southern exposure backyard

We are very happy with this as it’s contemporary looking with clean lines and the spacious area it gives for all! Our yard is southern facing and so it keeps the sun out but still let’s light and cool air flow.

Can't Rate High Enough

Love the clean simple design. Easy to install. Can't wait to spend all summer out there!!!!!

Finally - Sleek Modern!

I had always wanted one of these for my backyard but none of the wood designs I had seen really fit with our modern house. I was so excited when I saw this one. I love how it has transformed our backyard into another room but still keeps the sleek design of our home. Obsessed!
