arrived on time in 3 well packed boxes. easy to read instructions however it took 2 adults 8 hours to complete. very sturdy. kids LOVE it

falls apart in less than a year, very cheep wood.

super cheap wood, warps quickly, wood splints, swingset shakes with juts my 4yo on it. save your money and try a different brand.

Overall great swingset

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The quality is good, you have to watch for proper placement before you start the assembly process. We assembled it ourselves(as a family) and it took a day and a half. It's great for kids 10 & under.

A neighborhood favorite

Strong unit, easy to put together. Looks great and the kids love it.

The unit is very sturdy. Assembly was super easy. I do recommend that you use the app over the manual as the hardware ID# is not on the manual. Not that the manual isn't well written or descriptive enough, but ease of use with the app was superior. I highly recommend taking everything out and organizing everything so it's very easy to find and read. I built this by myself and finished in 7 hours.

18 months later

We purchased this playset in March of 2022, it took my husband 3 days to assemble because none of the pieces cine together. This is not the most sturdy set ... This is defiantly for smaller kids and not for big kids. It has lost some screws that we have had to replace but its just okay. Overpriced for sure.

The craftmanship is not good. The playset is already falling apart, very fragile, and it's only been 2 months. I'm going to request a refund. Photos show splits in cedar, at 90-degree angle, boards are shifting when my Grandchild is swinging. All hardware's /screws are secured.

I don’t recommend it for anyone over 6 years old.

My granddaughter loved this play set. The only problem was it was demolished in a storm with high winds after she’d only played in it once. Before I even got the bill in to pay for it.

Discovery Lakewood Playset has Issues

I purchased this playset for my grand kids over a year ago. The set up was lengthy even with two people doing the assembly. Initially I had to reinforce the ladder as it was not as structural as it should be twisted and could be for active children.. After a year the nails are rusting because they are not galvanized, and the door came off during the winter because it is a polypropylene living hinge that becomes brittle in the winter below 5 degrees C.. I am currently gluing the door component...

Board’s split

Had a board that was split in the box and a few split when screwing them in place have some glue ready when building this set

Just not happy.

It’s not very well made and had bad customer service with the backyard discovery business. The shipping department sent me two box threes. The door was messed up and falling apart.

Good swingset

I bought this for my child"s birthday. She loves playing on it.

Not great quality

I was very surprised this entire playset came in 3 (not very big) boxes. Putting it together was not as difficult as expected. We were worried after seeing other people's experiences. 2 people finished it in one day. 1 person gathering/setting up pieces and 1 person assembling. Unfortunately the quality is less than ideal. I know "things arn't made the way they used to be" but the wood is very light and easily breakable. Many pieces came splintered and chunks broken off. The wood will split easi...

Good for kids 2-8 A little smaller than I anticipated- my 5yr old won’t be able to enjoy it for as long as I hoped The wood does splinter fairly quickly- we didn’t have it a full year before it started splintering Overall good value for the money AND my husband put it together by himself 4hrs

Great Swingset

I bought this swing set for our son who was turning two. From the first time he laid eyes on it, he’s loved it. It wasn’t to difficult to assemble. Definitely a two person job. I would recommend this swing set
