OK Bracket Horrible Screws
Bracket itself is fine. But AVOID THE HARDWARE that comes with the pack, AT ALL COSTS! I tried putting up the mailbox on a wooden post. The long screw heads sheared off once they touched the wood and encountered a little resistance from it. I had to snap them off flush and use different screws I had. The bracket also got wonky because of all the hammering and pulling etc, but I was able to straighten it out because of the thin material. Overall, it works as a base, I just wish it came with good ...

Would RecommendThe product was award to install with the extension post. I find it very poor that when I buy a mailbox, it does not come with any mounting hardware. And that I have to pay another $15 for mounting. They say it is because posts differ, but 90% of the mail boxes will be mounted on standard wooden posts. Why not provide the mounting hardware?

Would RecommendWorks well for intended purpose. Included screws for attaching to wood 4x4 are terrible (Phillips head strips easily), so make sure you have some of your own as backup.

Would Not RecommendCheap and over priced, bought it for a listed mail box 2 of the 4 holes didn’t line up, hardware was light and I had to use some of my own to get the job done. For the money just wasn’t worth it, a board and some screws was much better.
