Would Not RecommendPurchased this mailbox in November of 2018. Less than 5 months pass and the door will not stay shut and the metal at the base of the door has torn. Trying to get credit from either the Mfg or Lowes. Just the mail carrier and I open a shut this mailbox. Do not purchase this Gibraltar mailbox.

Would Not RecommendOur store did not have this mail box in stock. We ordered it on line. When received, it was not in a card board box just its display box. It was dented on all four corners. We returned it to our store. We checked another store about 15 miles away for availability and they had three. So we made the trip. Well the three were damaged. We did buy the one with the least damage(just one back corner) since we needed a new mailbox. This purchase was very frustrating.
Sturdy and LARGE!
Would RecommendLove this mailbox. It's metal and the door closes with a magnetic closure. Its large enough for small packages so UPS won't have to put things at your door. Only thing I would change is the flag. It's odd shaped, gray and the fastener doesn't seem sturdy. But we'll see!

Would RecommendLooks good and works as expected, would have liked a few more mounting options in the bottom but I was able to make it work.
Magnet Doesn't Keep Door Closed
Would Not RecommendI like the size and appearance of the mailbox, but right out of the box the door just continually flopped open. The magnet wasn't strong enough to keep it closed.

Would RecommendThis is our second mailbox (first one hit by a run away truck axel). It is easy open yet closes tight to prevent rain from getting in the box.
