Door Bent & Tore in Less than 1 year

Thin metal exterior not attached to strong inside metal plate, hinges part of thin metal exterior and not part of strong interior metal plate. This cause Thin metal exterior to bend out at bottom and tear vertically and horizontally on right side above hinge. Had to add bolts and metal supports.

Does not have a magnetic closure

I initially liked this style and was debating between this mailbox and another style from this brand. However, upon checking this style out at the store, even in the black and bronze versions and checking a boxed one, this does not have any magnets in the closure. I even put a key up to the door and door area and no magnetic force was found at all with multiple keys. The other version I was looking at does have a magnet. So even though this is advertised as having a magnetic closure, please know...

Hardware not included.

It would have been perfect if the hardware had been included. I ended up returning to Lowes for Black Matte screws.

It can hold large packages and it has a lot of space.

mail carrier left a note

The door is so tight our mail carrier left a note asking us to fix it. Unfortunately, the door is not adjustable in any way with this model. I'm not sure what went wrong during manufacturing.

Ample size and well made metal mailbox.

This architectural mailbox is perfect with the metal post I purchased. A beautiful addition to my home.

Okay metal mailbox

I have had this about a month now. It's lighter weight than my more expensive one whose door snap off right at the 4 solder points! I got this one specifically because of how the door is attached at the outer hinges. I paid $79.00 for the other model and it broke with a year! We will see how this goes attached it to new post yesterday after removing it from old one that broke after someone hit it. So much for a metal post not breaking. Poor design. Poor quality

Same as other complaints. The door will not stay shut and the metal at the base of the door split because the door just flops open. Looks nice initially.

So far so good. Easy to install and the magnet is holding up and easy for the mail carriers to close.

Do not purchase

Door sticks and extremely hard to handle and the knob is lose daily. I would not recommend this mailbox
