Door Broken After Two Months!!
Would Not RecommendThis is a beautiful looking mailbox and it seemed to be well constructed but the door fell off after only two months. Take my advice and do not buy this mailbox - it will be a waste of your money and your time to install and uninstall.

The mailbox was delivered to the wrong house and I had to track it down and found it at my neighbors. After taking it out of the box I noticed a dent in the far right side of the mailbox. I am keeping it because it is the one I wanted. Thank you Lowes,Your customer Elizabeth.
This is a modified version that breaks the hinge
Would Not RecommendThis mailbox has a fancy door that was added over the existing door, apparently because the original was not appealing and wasn't selling. The modification causes the door hinge to jam and prevents the door from swinging fully down putting extreme stress on the hinge and eventually breaks the 4 spot welds holding hinge to the door within 8 months of use. I have since had to buy a different mailbox from Lowes that works.

It was damaged out of the package, both times. The first one I got, the corner was busted and beyond repair. The second one, the box had been dropped, and the back overlap was bent. I was able to bend it back myself, (there were only two of the models at the store, and I had already made the box to fit said model).

Faulty Hinge
Would Not RecommendAs stated by others, within a very short time ( few weeks) the hinge broke due to a design flaw and poor weld at the joint between hinge and door rendering the thing useless.
