Mailmen hate these
Would Not RecommendAs a mailman, I loathe seeing these boxes. They're hard to open and close. The edges on the door bezel are so sharp I often cut the skin of my knuckles on these. And yeah I guess the door will scratch the paint off the tip of the box too. These boxes can suck an egg.

Would RecommendI purchased 8 of these mailboxes and 2 of the magnets on the door were broken.

Would Not RecommendThe door fell off after one week. It was not rivited on. We used glue to fix. Would not recommend this mail box to others. We spent a great deal of time putting it on my post.

Would RecommendI considered cheaper and more expensive boxes and this one seemed to fit right in the middle. My local Lowes had a bunch on display and I chose this one for the price. Why the 4 stars then? The flag is attached with a CHEAP rivet and would not stand up on it's own. I removed the rivet and used my own bolt, washer and nut and I am satisfied with the result. For this price it should have been attached more securely. I HOPE this will last as long as the box it's replacing (20 years +). It does look...
Brunswick Mailbox
Although the packaging on this metal box had not been opened, the the side of the mailbox was dented at the rear. These boxes cost too much to be poorly packaged or they are being handled too roughly in the store when they are added to the stock. We were able to bend it slightly so as not too be very noticeable from the street.

Would Not RecommendIn order to attach it to the post the screws that were provided we’re actually too long and one sets up over an inch inside of the mailbox and can interfere with some mail pieces or small packages. I guess if we had the tool to cut it off that would remedy the problem
