Would RecommendWe had a new stone mailbox built around this mailbox. It is very spacious, closes firmly and stays closed. The door magnet is quite strong. It looks wonderful!

Would RecommendAs a mail carrier, I wish everyone had this box. It is large enough for most packages and it is heavy weight metal so it should last a long time. It is much stronger than the other large boxes Lowe's carries.
Nice Mailbox but....
Mailbox and post are fine, however the screws holding the lid on to the box have rusted out in less than 3 months. The attached picture is for the other bolt that I now need to replace roughly a week later.

Love this mailbox. Holds a lot of mail and is not so deep that you have to get out of your car and reach way in to get the mail when the mail person shoves the mail all the way to the back

Would Recommend1. The color bronze is not very "bronzey." By itself it looks black, but next to something black you can see it is not black. Maybe over time it will fade in the sunlight (?) 2. Be aware that the mounting screws go on the floor of the inside of the mailbox and NOT at the base of the outside like most mailboxes. Would Not RecommendAfter 8 months, yesterday the door fell off the mailbox when the mailman opened it. The lower hinge pin is an undersized rivet held in place by a cotter pin the size of a small paper clip. Today I replaced it with a 1/4" bolt, 2 washers and a locking nut. Only had enough nuts and bolts to do one side. Tomorrow will buy the proper hardware for the left side. Cost is probably less than $1.00 to do the job right. Would RecommendGreat size and sturdy. Only tack welded on the back, which is only disappointing because it's not formed perfectly to match up so there's a small gap. Large enough that most mail services get to avoid the long trip up my drive and I don't have to worry about them backing over anything when they turn around. Win win.
