Wouldn't buy it again

Very hard to send outgoing mail. Cheap clip to hold mail from falling inside box doesn't work.

A very sturdy mailbox

I just got it installed a few days ago. Cut a couple of 2x4, drill 4 holes, buy 4 3/8 carriage bolts and your ready. It looks great and is very sturdy. This one replaces my old locking mail box that someone pried it open. They will have to work harder with this one. The nicest feature was that there is a back door.

Very large mailbox

Make sure to look at the dimensions of this mailbox before you purchase it. It is larger than a conventional mailbox. Also, the slot won’t allow for large packages so they would still need to be dropped by your door. Lastly, I purchased this item online for in store pick up. Best locking mailbox in traditional style

I literally researched mailboxes for hours on the Internet as well as visiting a few stores in my local area. There are many traditional style mailboxes on the market that lock, but the designs are very poor. This is the only one I could find in a post mount set up that actually works well! Good mailbox

This seems to be a good product, well made - although it's metal and may still rust. We'll see how it holds up for the rest of this Winter to see if it looks as good as it does now, by the end of Summer! Easy to put together and install.

Awesome mailbox

This mailbox is huge. I'm very happy that it is sturdy and has a lock. Only regret was that it bought a mailbox post that blocks the back door.

Locking Mailbox

With identity theft on the rise, I decided that it was a good idea to install a locking mailbox. I could not have been more pleased with this selection-sturdy,holds small pkgs and lots of magazines and mail.Also there is a magnet that assures the door that the mailman uses will stay closed. In addition, the pewter color adds a contemporary look. The best feature I like is the lock that is on both sides so that I can stand on the sidewalk-not in the street-and retrieve my mail.

Packages were being stolen out of our neighborhood boxes. So I went to Lowe’s and looked at what they sell. I decided to purchase this one because I liked the fact that the mail automatically went to the bottom when put in slot. Some of the others the mailman would have had to push the mail all the way to the back of box for it to fall to bottom, leaving mail exposed if someone looked inside.

Ordering process is quite unsatisfactory.

Will not work if recipient address is different than the credit card holder address and phone no. What a mess. In addition, they will not ship to P.O.BOX and you will not know until the order is ready to ship.... a week later.

Oasis Locking Mailbox metal pewter lockable

I like it. It's big. Locks in front & back. Looks nice. It's sturdy. Mailman likes it too. My only concern is the city snowplow. But it's highly visible and he should be able to avoid it. The post office asked that I remove our mailbox from the house, so I installed this new one by the curb. I'm still in the habit of checking our mail at the front door but that mailbox is now gone.

Disappointed with this mailbox

I'm disappointed by this mail box for a few reasons. First and foremost is the inability to keep water out. I live in Washington state where it rains A LOT. My mail has been soaked every time that it rains hard. Very disappointing. Today, the key broke off in the lock. Snapped clean off. The key has always been stiff getting it in and out. Love the mailbox but the key stuck and we were unable remove it. Key broke off in the lock. Now having to find a replacement lock. Only had the box about 3 months

Sturdy Mailbox

Heavy duty mailbox with double locks fills what it is needed for. I've had no problems like other reviewers with key issues. It came with 4 keys and all work just great. Nice feature for the rear access to retrieve your mail from your side of the property and very secure. Nice looking and displays nicely on a 4X4 cedar post. Finish also worked well when attaching house numbers. Great mailbox.

High quality, excellent finish and easy to install

I am impressed with this mailbox, the finish on it reminds looks like a brand new car. The finish has a metallic sheen to it and the quality of the mailbox exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend this product!

Pros: Well built Size is right All metal Includes 4 keys Cons: No hardware include The opening of the drop box is kinda small, there's a lot room inside of it, but is useless since that door is so small. Great mailbox, sturdy and will hold up for years

I researched many locking mailboxes, and did not want one that looked to bulky or industrial. I bought the aluminum post and set it in fast set quickcrete, the mail carrier was putting mail into the 5 hours after I pulled the old one out, easy install only took a few minutes to set the post and a few more later when the concrete set to add the mailbox. I have some peace of mind now that I won't have to worry when not home at mail time (bill time.
