At first I was a little nervous buying this mailbox because of the reviews, but with my set up this was the best purchase. The biggest complaint I kept reading about was the lock. Once I tested mine out I could see how people struggled with opening it. But I learned a trick on how to open it and it slides right in, I don’t struggle at all. Nice Mailbox, Bad Lock!

I really liked the style of this mailbox. It has a large enough area to put mail in and has a little clip to hold outgoing mail for the postman to pick up. It is secure, in that you can't reach your hand in to get mail out. However, the lock is horrible. The key drags as it goes in and once I get the key in, I have to keep turning my key back and forth to get it to finally open. We had a large number of cards and gifts stolen this holiday season. When I compared cost, size of mail slot, weight of box and overall size of secure mailboxes this one stood out. The slot opening is just big enough for small packages, soft packages and prescriptions to fit through. The box is large enough to accommodate several days worth of mail.
