Would Not RecommendI know margins are thinning everywhere but come on - zero mounting hardware was included! And there are no holes on the side to mount from. It was a task to install this; highly recommend having a right angle impact to be able to fasten it from the inside.

Would RecommendThis mailbox is heavy steel and has a recessed door that is held shut by a magnet. My mailboxes over the years have had the latch on top, which always get damaged. I’m hoping to have this one for a very long time.
Mailbox door fastener cannot survive some mailmen
Would Not RecommendThe magnet of the door fastener is held in a metal casting, just inside the door; the casting cannot survive some mailmen! In July 2022 I installed this mailbox, it is much better looking than the original from 1989. However that plastic 1989 mail box door still worked, while this fancy and costlier mailbox door failed later in 2024. A neighbor liked mine, and installed one at their home - last week they observed our inconsiderate mailman slamming home their identical mailbox door too; she warne...

Would Not RecommendThis mailbox is not near as big as the one that I'm replacing. It was labeled as extra large, but is about 2/3s the size of my old one. I'm very disappointed in it. I didn't realize it was so much smaller that my old one until I had already put the number stickers on it or I would have returned it for a refund.
