Would RecommendI had a version of this that the door was the entire face of the mailbox, it became difficult to close after time. This version is just the flat part of the face and it closes much easier. So far I like this one much more.

Would RecommendThis mailbox is excellent. however I tried a slightly different mailbox from Lowes that was first purchased and it was dented after I removed it from the box, so it was returned. I repurchased another mailbox from Lowes, installed it, and it leaked rain into the box. This was returned for this box. When purchasing the third box I found the original dented box back out on the aisle for someone else to purchase, even though I clearly stated to the return clerk that the item was damaged. Very disap...

Would Not RecommendThe decorative heavy metal door is held on by 6 very small machine screws. After a month, 4 of the 6 screws pulled out. The weight of the door puts a torqueing motion on the box and hinge which also caused the metal of the box to bend. (note I added this review under the mailbox I purchase however some of the pictures in the reviews do not match the item I purchased)

Would RecommendThese are a high quality mailbox. We like the look and the feel so much we have 56 installed in our development and most likely another 125 to go. We had to get them online from the store.

Would Not Recommendafter having it for less than 2 months, knob fell off, door is now misaligned and difficult for mailman to close, for the money I thought it might have lasted longer.

Would RecommendNice and sturdy. Flag isn’t some wimpy plastic. About the only downside is it’s a bottom mount and not a side mount for the post they sell that matches this box - which isn’t really a bad thing…just would have been easier with the side mount way.
