Would RecommendMy cold water inlet hose sprung a leak after 4 years. I tried to tighten the leaking hose but that only made it worse due to the additional movement. My local Lowe's rep suggested this steel braided hose as a replacement due to it's better flexibility, strength and resistance to kinking. Installed the new hose within minutes and everything has been running great.

DON’T USE TEFLON TAPE
Would Not RecommendI spent 3 hours trying to figure out why the leak behind the brass nut. After researchng the web, i decided to remove the telfon tape...no more leak. I’m hoping to wake up tomorrow and find no leaks.

Well, it's only been two days, but so far so good.
