Ok so far, 2018 Installed 24" Version 4 years ago.
Would Recommend• Installed Lowes 3/4-in FIP X 24-in braided stainless steel water heater connector as hot water outlet to new replacement PEX piping four years ago with no leaks or problems. These reviews are scary however – maybe some were not quite installed properly, or maybe they were, don’t know? I replaced my 2006 copper flex pipe that leaked after starting up the new home that had set empty for a year prior to sale of new home. Well made and so they are stiff.
Would RecommendThese hoses are well constructed. Because of this they are a little stiff. I used 90 degree brass elbows to remove as much stress on the tank and pipe fittings. They work as expected. Installed on a tall 40 gallon water heater.
