Watch for burrs

One of the two handles that we purchased, came in with a very tiny and sharp burr on it. I cannot remove the burr or it will damage the finish. I've tried to get it replaced but cannot get anyone's attention at Lowes. It's such a small thing but It's been very frustrating.
