Would Not RecommendI loved these shades when we first got them! Great look and easy install. We put them up and down once daily to allow light into our dining room. One stopped going up 2 months ago (after 2 years) and another just stopped going up 2 days ago. I was in process of ordering a replacement when the second one broke. Would Not RecommendSimilar to what JTay noted in their review on November 4, 2023, I had an experience in the middle of the night where the plastic carrier for one of the support cord/spring mechanisms suddenly broke qithout warning. The hlshade saw limited use, maybe once or twice a week over the past four years. What the kicker is that the failure happened in the middle of the night when it wasn't even being touched. Would RecommendI like this light filtering shade and love that I can bring it down from the top so that I can see some daylight without someone being able to walk up to my window and see into my house. I was less than pleased when the item tracked to arrive and then returned to the sender location and then shipped to me again. Upon receipt the packaging did not look damaged however the shade was damaged. The front and back of the top had some separation on the trim pieces, but it did no affect the installation...
