This made building a gate so much easier than building from the ground up out of wood only. Great purchase!

Adjust a gate

The last gate I built was from wood. It lasted 10 years and then needed replacement. This time I used the steel frame Adjust a gate. It was not difficult to build and the instructions were adequate. I expect this gate to last much longer. I would suggest to anyone who is building a gate to use this product.

No probs with my gates.

I bought 3 of these kits 1 was used for a single gate and the other 2 for a double swing gate. All my gates swing inward the Single gate I installed 2 years ago it still functions great and the double swing gate I installed about 3 weeks ago and it works perfect for my needs I had to rebuild the whole double gated side cause my wooden post rotted out and my fence fell over. My fence post are 2 3/4 galvanized steel post had to scrap the screw in hinges that came with the kit and bought the kind...

Best Swinging Gate Yet !

Installed double Adjust-A-Gate to replace a home built double privacy gate. Installation went smoothly following instructions. Other than replacing supplied screws with deck screws all materials supplied are of good quality and integrate well.Gates now swing open with ease! Would definately purchase again.

Frame is easy to work with, the J bolt hinge is a little tough to get started in a 6x6 treated post but overall a good sturdy gate after completion

Easy gate

Easiest fence gate I ever made. Instructions are easy to understand and easy to read.

Almost perfect gate!

Gate is extremely easy to put together and works great. Time will tell if it will hold up over time but already is 100% better then previous gate kits I have purchased. I will buy again for future projects. The only reason i did not give 5 stars is when installing pickets slight modification may be required to hide gaps near the hinges.

Liked it so much I did it twice.

Pros: Took me about 2 hours to make a gate. Didn't swear one time. I have a really solid framework now if I ever need to replace a board or make an adjustment to the gate. My carpentry/measuring skills are about a 3/10, and I was capable of getting this up. Cons (sorta): You do have to apply some thoughts on how you want the gate to swing and how you're going to hide hingest. It can swing outward, but inward is highly recommended. simple to put together, works well

You only need to buy some 2x4's, cut to your length, and then some rails.

Very pleased with this fence gate. Easy to assemble, and will stay aligned unlike the cheaper models that only include four corners. Sturdy, and will not sag with time. Good purchase for me.

Fairly easy to assemble . No problem with the screws. Only complaint is the design should be for a taller gate if needed. Instructions say mark center point on the post then mark 16 inches above and below and thats where the hinges are set. The fence boards are 8 ft, that leaves a lot of panel above the top 2x4 . Easy

Just follow the directions. Expanding bars seem to be weak but the strength is in the 2X4s. And you CAN stand on it with no sag!

Sturdy and adjustable

The gate went on easily and adjusted to the width I needed. The only problem was getting the holes in the posts exactly straight.
