Ratings & Reviews for AcuRite Digital Outdoor White Thermometer

Good Idea

I use this to keep an eye on the temp in my crawl space. Works great. 4 stars because of the price

AcuRite Digital Infoor/Outdoor White Thermometer

I installed it under an eave on the house, approximately 12 feet from the headboard of my bed, and it started receiving instantly. I've checked the temps against other thermometers, and it's right on! Excellent product!

Thermometer

This item was purchased to monitor my crawlspace temperature and humidity level. The outdoor transponder is reading accurately with a very strong signal. This item is functioning properly and everything seems to be correct. The size is correct. It is not too big and bulky. Works great!

Took it back was giving false readings,

Parts of numbers were missing, gave false readings, took it back....

Do Not Buy

Did not work for an hour. Started to work but stops on one temperature for days. Lost receipt.Waste of time to call for warranty,be one answers.

Convenient Display to Read Outside Air Temperature

This is my second purchase of the AcuRite Digital Indoor/Outdoor Thermometer. The first worked perfectly but unfortunately did not stand up to someone power washing my deck without removing the sensor. It will withstand some moisture, but it should be mounted in a covered area outside. After powerwashing, it read 4-5 degrees high so I bought a new one which is within one degree of other outside thermometers and our indoor thermostat. It has a fairly large display and easy to read from across...

Inaccurate readings

I have used this brand before with good results. The unit I purchased this time was always at least 5 degrees off from neighbors, television and on line weather services.

Portable, accurate

My wife has moved this all over the house and it and it works very good. Seems very accurate based on our other thermometer readings. Have not had colds temperatures yet, we'll see so far it's great!

Indoor OutDoor Thermometer

Perfect for using inside to monitor different rooms of the house or use indoor outdoor to always know the temperature. I monitor different room in my home that requires certain temperature and I always know at a glance what the temperature is. Very handy. Easily hangs up on the wall to get it out of the way.

It works

Bought it to be a simple solution to wanting an outside thermometer for my truck. Attached a magnet, and put it on the bed, under the toolbox. Works great. My only issue has been figuring out where to mount the receiver, but no big deal.

Dark read-out

I'm planning to return this. Hard to see read-out unless very close. Deceptive packaging shows very clear numbers.

The AcuRite is accurate

It's much smaller than I wanted, but I just needed one to give me the indoor and outdoor temp. This fits the bill.

Love these thermometers

I have a fascination with weather/temperature and own several of these. They are reliable, trustworthy, and inexpensive.
