Instant hot water
Would RecommendSo far, so good. We bought this for our seasonal Mobile Home to replace a 20+ yr old unit. We bought the lower cost, lower voltage usage unit because we did not want to put too much strain on our electrical system. It works great for our needs. We are able to take 2 showers back to back and do dishes without running out of hot water. Two adult home. Hot water is instant. I will be happy if we get 10 yrs from this one!

Installation kit
Would Not RecommendWhen you buy this water heater Lowe’s forces you to buy an installation kit for $40 more. My plumber did not use the kit and it’s not returnable. So the true price of this water heater is $40 more than advertised. I don’t like this type of deceptive sales tactics.
Not a good water heater
Would Not RecommendWater heater never worked properly. Luke warm some times, cold at other times. Changed thermostat no different results. Also changed element 3 times. Burn elements out and when it don’t it just don’t heat water. Rheem is a much better product!

Went electric instead of gas.
Would RecommendFirst time using electric water heater in mom’s mobile home. Install was rough due to its placement above the wheel wells. But it’s working fine .

Needs short threaded pipes to Connect!
The water heater was exactly as advertised, with one HUGE exception. I needed a side water connection not a top connection, so I had to unplug the side holes and plug up the top holes, but not a big deal. What was a big deal is that the water heater did not come with threaded short pipes to come out of the hot outlet and the cold inlet holes. So i bought the recommended ($50)connector kit, which didn’t have connector pipes EITHER! I was 35 miles away from any store at my cabin and the connector...
