Hidden Dent
I purchased this online and my local Lowe's was out of stock and it would be a week before they got one. After getting it in place and installed I removed the paperwork and manual taped to side of water heater. I noticed a huge dent behind it. I called Lowe's to get it exchanged and I was told they they would not exchange it because it was removed from box and not leaking the only thing they would do is offer 50 dollar credit. I called the Mfg AO Smith and they said there is nothing they can do...

Would RecommendInstall was relatively easy, really need to run the hot water side a lot before you turn it on. The heater is so much better than our old one we feel like we could easily turn it down it gets so hot. The unit puts out 125° water from the factory settings. The water stays hotter longer than our older unit too, which must equal to money saved in the long run.

After waiting at the pick up area for 10 minutes lowe’s associate walked up and I gave that person the order number. The Lowe’s associate. asked me to walk to the back of the store with them to pick up the water heater. I had to put the water heater on a push cart by myself the Lowe’s associate gave me the paperwork and walked away I push the water heater from the back of the store to my vehicle.
