Quality has gone down hill.
Would Not RecommendAt the time I opened the box at home my new hot water heater was dented, and the plumber warned it could be an issue or it could be cosmetic. Having no hot water, I had the plumber install the dented hot water tank. I think I am generous giving you a 3 score.

Would RecommendI was forced to replace my old water heater (an A.O. Smith) by my home insurance provider because it was 16 years old (in great working condition - I had the elements replaced a few years ago). I expect my new one will provide me with just as good service as the last one.

Will it last?
Would RecommendThis unit was installed last week, looks good. Time will tell about how good this heater is. My Rheem unit, the one this one replaced, lasted 19 years. I heard they don't make them like they use to.
