[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first knife sharpener. I am not a chef by any means but doing the small amount of chopping and dicing I do my knives were really dull. I have been known to throw them away and buy new ones but never again. This will save me a lot of money. In fact my nephew is getting married this summer and I am getting him one for a gift.

Great for Japanese Damascus knives

Easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a fairly new knife that was advertised as to never need sharpening. I considered the knife to be one of my sharper knives. Decided to put it through the V edge sharpener and after 20 pulls through and I cut a tomato, I realized that the knife was actually dull and cut better after the sharpening.
