Would RecommendI wanted a slightly longer knife than my normal knife so I got this one. It’s beautiful like my others and is the quality I expect from Zwilling. I love that it’s sharp and feels so good in my hands. Having the right tool for the job makes food prep more enjoyable and I am looking forward to all those pineapples I am going to juice with the help of this bad boy,

Great chef knife
Would RecommendWe got this knife for our wedding and LOVE it. Super solid, with a thick metal core, and easy to hold / cut. We tried cooking at the in-laws house but their cheap Henkel knife was so bad, light, and dull that we ended up buying one of these for her! Worth the price every time.

Nice improvement
Would RecommendA big improvement over the knife it is replacing… I got my original chef’s knife nearly 30 years ago as a wedding gift and it had been sharpened so many times that the hilt was lower than the blade. This knife is a perfect replacement since the hilt doesn’t go all the way to the edge of the knife. I suspect this one will last even longer!

Disappointed with quality
Would Not RecommendI’ve had Zwilling knives for years and was shocked to see how the quality has dropped. This knife is supposed to be one of their higher end offerings. It needed sharpening immediately on arrival and had some obvious machining defects on the edge. The package was beat up which made it seem cheap. The bevel on the handle seems to be a bit sharper than the other knives I have from this same line. I kind of regret choosing the brand I know over others in the same price range.
