Would RecommendI use this constantly for outdoor wood trim repair when epoxy isn't needed. It is great and inexpensive for filling small dents, nailholes, and cracks. It does experience some shrinkage, so I typically overfill and sand. Because it is alkyd based, you have to give it time for the mineral spirits to evaporate before trying to overpaint with latex, otherwise you will get small blisters.

This is the best patching compound I have found
Would RecommendMH Ready Patch is smooth as butter and non-caking, and you cannot say that about some other brands. Most of these shrink, but this one does not. This is the best patching compound I have found.

Best Patch ever
Would RecommendDue to a water leak we had several feet of wall that needed to be remember, dried then patched. Everything I tried just did not work. A friend recomeneded ready patch so I figured I would give it a try. It laid right, held and paint went right over it. No issues.

MH cement
Would Not RecommendMaybe someone else would feel differently; but I didn't like the way it dried out too fast when trying to apply it.

Great but smelly
Would RecommendThis product worked really well for filling cracks and holes. It dried in a few hours then sanded nicely before being painted over. Only downside was that the smell was overpowering and took awhile to dissipate even with fan on and windows open.
