I like that you can change your lock ID but I don't like that it sometimes doesn't connect to home app.

Excellent lock that has been very reliable for us.

Easy to install, reliable, works well. Sometimes says the door is offline with spotty wifi.

Easy to install, set up and use. We did have issue calibrating, which initially prevented us from remotely locking, but it was easily fixed by deepening deadbolt hole in doorframe.

Yale Assure Lock 2 Keypad with WiFi

I upgraded our system from a Schlage keypad to the Yale Assure 2 a few weeks ago. The DIY install was super easy and the app is very intuitive. I also really appreciate how easy it is to add temporary access for neighbors / contractors / etc. Our door sits ever-so-slightly offset from the deadbolt channel, so I have a little more work to do before we can lock remotely.

Looks good, smart home compatible, and easy to use

Another great addition to my Apple Home smart home family. Easy install into a door that didn’t have a handle setup. Looks good and integrated into my smart home network without issue.

Had several schlage smart locks each lasted about a year before failing. Switched to Yale and so far all is well.

Good lock, poor ordering

[Employee of yalehome] Lock works great. But when I tried to purchase a second lock for another house on my property my order was refunded with no explanations

Locked us out of our house

Installed this keypad entry, and within a month the batteries it came with died. Replaced with expensive lithium batteries, and now another month and a half later the batteries completely died with no heads up from the Yale app, leaving us locked outside of our house. We had to break a window to get inside. Absolutely do not recommend this product.

Yale locks seem to work well, especially these keypad ones. Install is easy and the app connects quickly.

Yale Digital Lock not ready for prime time

Total disappointment, purchased fall of 2025. The lock was easy to install and setup, but that is where the good stops. Lock has lost configured access codes five times since setup. Resetting is a hit or miss proposition. This Lock eats batteries like candy. Yale tech support was less than helpful. This is at best a "beta" version. I would not purchase again.
