Would RecommendCame in good condition just needed to finish putting it together add the oil gas and fire it up. I tried it out in some hard ground and it did what I wanted it to do. I ordered it from Lowes in Buckhannon WV about the same time I ordered a Fridge and I live 52 miles away and I showed it in stock. they are going to bring me the fridge but shipped me the tiller from Texas. Free shipping. Took about 3 weeks and I still don't have my fridge.

Junk, run away
Would RecommendJunk, vibrates itself to pieces, NO Yardmax support, no support from LOWES.

Better than expected
Would RecommendI was tired of borrowing my neighbors tiller. He had a cub cadet rear tine tiller that I used several times and it seemed like a really good unit. Once I started using this one I think it is significantly better. We have a lot of quartz and other rocks in our soil and this think chews through it all. The box was damaged in shipping to the store and it caused some of the unit to have some scratches but because we are on a small farm I am not worried about it. It was super easy to assemble a...

Better than expected
Would RecommendI bought this because i couldn't find a troy built.Didn't want a china made product but....It starts easy and does it dig.I live in an area with sandy soil with lots of roots and vines,no problem for this tiller.the forward or reverse rotating tines are a must. The gearbox makes more than it should and it comes with a cheep drive belt.I lucked out and got it 1 week before the price went up $150.Have used it now 4-5 times and am pretty happy

Great tiller!
Would RecommendSo far so good. The tiller really works well and is way more powerful that I thought. It handles my hard, rocky soil no problem. The only improvement I can think of is the shifting mechanism for the transmission is a bit difficult to use, but once you get the hang of it, it gets easier.

Get The Job Done!!
Would RecommendI purchased the YardMax a couple days ago in the store, they told me it would be about a week or so but instead called me the day after and said it would be delivered Monday! This as a customer excites me to do business with someone with a quick delivery, so that I can get my jobs done in a timely manner. Once the product arrived, I was fearful because it was as big as it was, I didn’t realize that is was like a small tractor. I feared the worst on assembly, but don’t because it’s really simple ...
A beast
Would RecommendAssembly was easy. Starts with 1 or 2 pulls. Have used it for 20 plus hours. Did a super job in rock hard NC red clay. The ability to change the tine direction allowed me to clear roots and rocks without having to stop the tiller and manually unclog it. The travel mode makes fit easy to move from place to place without the tines engaged.

Great machine - I wish I had gotten this years ago
Would RecommendI recently purchased this wonderful rototiller after spending a week turning over an eight ft. by twenty five ft. garden by hand. It was easy to assemble and started up on the first pull after I got it full of oil and gasoline. In about a half an hour I had tilled up an area as big as what had taken me a week by hand. I've had this close to a month now and it's been a great machine so far. I hope to get years of use out of this machine. There is a bit of a learning curve but I'm getting it down....

Videos show it in very loose soil. Not real world
Would RecommendI wanted to use it for a full season before reviewing it. I got a great price for mine. Easy to set up and started easy. Must remember to have throttle moved forward from stop before starting. Really enjoy having throttle on handle bar to adjust speed to ground condition with out having to walk around to the carb. If you watched the videos it gives the impression that you can run it with one hand and walk to the side. This is true but only if your soil is rock and root free . Most gardens are no...
My Yardmax Tiller
Would RecommendI bought this Tiller after looking at several rear tine tillers. After putting oil and gas in it, it started on the first pull. Works great and has plenty of power to dig in and till up the ground. This is not my first rear tine tiller. I had another brand at one time, then I had a pull behind tiller. The Yardmax works better than either of them. It is definitely a keeper.
Awesome Tiller
Would RecommendGreat tiller, don't beat you up like those front tine tillers! Runs Great, Pulverizes The soil!
Best Tiller Ever
Would RecommendBest tiller I have ever had, and I have had a lot. Starts right up and runs smoothly. It is a little heavy but the power makes up for that.
Great price, easy to use
Would RecommendNice machine and couldnt beat the price. Had to wait until Spring to use it, but was not disappointed. Been hand digging for years, and this was perfect for me. Really wants to go, had to learn to control it at first, but digs very nicely
Great Machine
I don't have much experience with tillers, but I am highly pleased with this machine. I really wanted to go the Troy-bilt route, but could not find a rear tine machine the size I wanted available at this time anywhere I looked. I settled on this machine and feared I would not be pleased with it. I could not have been more wrong.
