Compact, easy to use knife and scissor sharpener

I chose this sharpener for my kitchen because its inexpensive, compact for storage and easy to use. It has 3 slots, wheels/plates the Honing slot is used to re-sharpen with a ceramic abrasive wheel. It will smooth and sharpen, the sharpen slot has a Diamond abrasive 320 grit wheel and a scissor slot that has a 320 grit Diamond Abrasive plate. Safe and easy knife sharpener

The sharpener was very easy to use. They handle was the right size and positioned properly. It allowed for easy and safe of the sharpener. The rubber bottom of the sharpener under the base and handle allowed the sharpener to stay safely still as you run a knife through it. The multiple setups allowed for sharpening various size and styles of knives and scissors to be done.

Keeps the cutting edge cutting!

Nicely designed and well made. I especially like the no slip base. It doesn’t move around even on a wet surface. Designed to be used with the knife blade straight up and down. Great Sharpener

The thing I like best about this sharpener is that is has rubber feet on the bottom so that you can put flat on a table and it doesn't move. It really gets your knives and scissors very sharp.

New Life

I normally use a sharpening rod for our smooth edged knives and I had all but written-off the serrated ones. Needless to say I was a bit surprised; this pull-through sharpens both. It’s a bit awkward for left-handed folks but in less than 5 minutes, all my knives were cutting like new.

Works Great!

This is a nice, simple little knife sharpener that does a quick job of getting knives sharp again. I used it to sharpen all my kitchen knives that we use everyday and I could definitely tell a difference. They are much sharper than I could ever get them using the long stick sharpener that came with the set. Its so simple to use as well, it took less than 10 minutes to sharpen all 13 knives and the scissors in my kitchen set. Well worth it the cost.

I am quiet pleased with this product. It is easy to use, it has a few modes, for scissors, serrated, chef knife, and pairing. My scissors typically go dull as I use them for cutting chicken, bacon, etc. and this tool brings them back to life! I do recommend you read the instructions and recommendations as it comes with molded numbers and scissors. Great kitchen/home gadget to have. It has an easy to follow usage and guidelines. The sharpener sits well on various surfaces. The sharpener also has various types of stone/diamond surfaces to sharpen a variety of cutlery. The handle fits mine and my spouses hand/grip very comfortably.

Better for Sharpening Knives than Scissors

You can sharpen knives, both straight & serrated blades easily as instructed. As long as your knives aren't really dull, the 10 times it recommends back & forth thru its appropriate slot, works. Sharpening scissors doesn't work as instructed, see pic 1. It says to place the beveled edge down, "onto the Diamond Plate." This plate is only .475," that's less than a half inch or 12.06 mm. Great sharpener! Most draw sharpeners use two carbide blades set at an angle; they work well. This one is different. It uses two discs to sharpen the blade, which seems to work better. Sharpens well in only a few passes sharpened my kitchen knives. Easy to use and stores well. Like it has a place for scissors as well. Made short work of caring for my knives.

This is a great little blade/knife sharpener. Manual and compact, very easy and comfortable to handle. The quality seems pretty solid. I have already sharpened several knives with ease and am looking around the kitchen for more! Fairly priced for all it has to offer. I would recommend to a friend.

Nice compact item, worked great!

I chose to hone my knife and also sharpen a scissors with my Push Through Kitchen Sharpener. I figured the blade of the knife was fairly sharp and decided to just hone the blade. I ran it through the ten times like the directions stated and the edge seems to be more like it was when it was new. It was easy enough to do and the sharpener doesn't take up a lot of room in the drawer. I absolutely love the ease of this knife sharpener! I’ve tried many times in the past sharpening on a stone and I never get a very good edge on it. This takes the guessing out of it. Plus I can actually sharpen my kitchen sheets too!

This is a great little knife sharpener. It even does serrated knifes. Small enough to store in utensil drawer. Both my husband myself are older and it is simple to use without too much effort.

Work Sharp Knife Sharpener

I absolutely love this sharpener. It not only sharpens ANY kind of knife, but scissors too. It's easy because the sharper has numbers on the side of it. Just pull through the slot with the number 1 for regular knives, slot number 2 for serrated. There is a diamond plate in the middle of the numbers for scissors. I took a dull knife and ran it through the slot and this thing cut through tomatoes and cucumbers like they were paper. Love it and would definitely recommend it.
