Won’t buy Whirlpool again

Disappointed in the wattage!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The wattage is not high enough! I thought it was like my last Whirlpool microwave which was 1,050. The new microwave is 1,000. This makes a big difference!

Less than thrilled

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I replaced a Whirlpool microwave with this newer model Whirlpool and I’m sorry that I was ‘brand loyal’. I had the old one for over 10 years and I was happy with it. This new model is nothing like the one I replaced. There is way too much touching of the control panel for even simple tasks. For example: I have to press ‘Stop/Cancel’ even after using the 30second feature and letting it run the full 30 seconds. That’s true for every function. I h...

I am very happy with my new microwave.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This new microwave replaced my over 20 year old Whirlpool microwave, which I loved and which was still working but had a crack on the door. As a result of my experience with my old one, I would not consider any other brand than Whirlpool! And, so far, as I am learning about this new one, it works great!!!

Could have better quality control!

When they found the repair problem they didn't have the parts. Another week to wait for parts to get in and to repair. Waiting for the repair so one star?

Broke in 2-weeks

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] New microwave purchased/installed 2 weeks ago and it shorted out. Very scary seeing it spark out the top. Repairman said it was the magnatron, then service dept. called and said it was the transistor. Part has been ordered and suppose to be in next week. Will be without a working microwave for more than a week and I am not happy.
