Good RO system for decent price

Similar to old system, so it was easy to install

No installation instructions

Was missing installation instructions and a few parts. Had to go buy different peices at hardware store.

Be patient for the installation.

This unit was purchased as a replacement, I expected to take about an hour to install... 4 hours later and it was still leaking. One of the hoses going into the faucet was leaking (after the installation). Had to disasseble the faucet, remove the water line, trim it back and re-install it. Next the spigot was very loose on top. 2nd leak. Returned the spigot to Lowe's and got a replacement. Still leaked. At the top where the spigot is tightened was a plastic stopper with a gap in it. Had a little difficulty installing, has great volume when filling large containers.

Great product

Spacing under my cabinet was a slight issue due to being an older home. However once installed the product worked as it should and my family can definitely say the water tastes cleaner than before.

Best tasting water from this system

This is our 2nd unit. We have had a Whirlpool Reverse Osmosis system for at least maybe 20 yrs (don't quote me on it) and anyone who drinks this water is amazed how clean and refreshing it is. The only water I drink. Our school district now has reverse osmosis systems in school and I tell people about ours and refer them to Whirlpool . Price is right too..Easy to install as well.

Very Low Quality

The internal ASO valve never shuts so its constsntly waisting water even at 60psi incoming pressure. It will waist hours if your day and probably be DOA like mine. The faucet it 100% plastic and has 3 hoses that run up to it. If the black drain hose rotates on the sink drain from somthing knowing into it, drain water gets blocked and water sprays under your sink for hours till u notice from red line. Easy Install!

Purchased during a kitchen remodel. Had to purchase one fitting that wasn’t in the box and drill one hole above the P-trap. Other than that it was “plug and play” as outlined in the directions to complete the installation. The system is working as advertised.

LIFETIME WARRANTY UNIT, MY UNIT WON'T TEST DRINKING WATER ANYMORE. CALLED THE WHIRLPOOL TO REPLACE MY UNIT, BUT THEY TELL ME IT'S OUT OF WARRANTY.

Great filter.

the filter was fairly easy to install. But having never done any of this type of work, It sure would have been nice if there was an owners manual with installation instructions. That download and opening my phone every step of installation was a complication I didn’t appreciate.

Happy so far; water measures at 13ppm.

Simple install since I replaced an older model of whirlpool that lasted for 15 years. I also like the easy filter replacement. I saw complaints about leaking connectors. I believe there is an O-ring in the connection that can be replaced to fix the leak. Lastly, the price is very reasonable so if there is a problem I will think of this unit as disposable.

Great water

Water is great. Only problem I had was tapping into the cold water supply in my mobile home. Mobile Homes have plastic crimped fittings. Threaded adapter that was provideed did not work. Had to buy 1/2 inch splitter to supply cold water to filter.

Don't buy

Replaced prior Whirlpool RO which i had for 12 years. Manifold cracked so i bought a new whole system. I didnt realize it had a lifetime warranty, so my mistake. Had this new system installed by licensed plumber and it hasnt worked properly from day 1. Takes 18 seconds to dispense 4 cups. After several lengthy calls with WP and a second plumber out WP thinks it's a faulty prefilter. But filters are not covered by warranty even right out of the box. They said to call Lowes.
