Great softner good price.

Good price easy to install and operate. Did not like that the hook up changed from older whirlpool softener that i bought 10 years ago made it so plumbing had to be redone.

Check the box before you bring it home

The first one I purchased was destroyed in the box. The replacement showed up and the light inside the tank doesn’t work. Other than that, it does what it is supposed to.

Fantastic water softener better than than big name

I bought this same softener 12 years ago, solid unit, we used it up with a very busy house I bought the Exact same unit again this past week to replace, it’s nice to see consistency, I dropped it right in place!!

Buying the water softener was easy although I did not get my Military Discount, which I thought was a little annoying. Getting a plumber lined up at a reasonable price was a little more difficult. All in all, I'm pleased.

This isn’t an issue with Lowe’s—it’s the product itself. A word of advice: don’t follow the instructions too literally. Before adding water and salt to the softener, make sure the control panel is actually working. Now I’m stuck—I can’t return the defective unit because it would need to be completely drained first. Instead, I’m waiting 7–10 business days for a replacement control panel to arrive, and I’ll have to install it myself!

It works

It did withhold requirements of gallon per person of usage. And it is working takin out the minerals and putting in the correct stuff to clean my Water.

Good Price for the water softener

This Water Softener was a Replacement to our existing one. Same Device. We think it will be as good or better than the old one. Old one Really needed to be replaced.

44,000 grain water softener works great. Installed for 3 weeks now and the water went from a hardness of 24gpg to 0 and there are no more rust stains in the sinks or toilets. We have well water and I set the softener at 35 to take care of the iron and so far it works great, uses very little salt and regenerates once a week using about 35 gallons, much better for the septic system.

Check for damage before leaving the store.

Easy to hook up once plumbing was in place.. The only complaint is that the first one we got was damaged and we had to get a refund and start again. The second one was fine, but the price had gone up $20.
