I just got a small space refrigerator

Look nice

I purchased this refrigerator a couple of months ago. So far it is working fine, but I still have to be sure to close the doors tightly, if not they pop open! The main problem is that it is noisy when it is running, it’s like a moaning, hissing sound , quite loud. It is very annoying.

Use caution

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The refrigerator is the right size for my needs, vegetables and drinks. One big problem is that the top door, freezer, pops open when you shut the refrigerator door. The freezer door seal is not good. Every time you open the refrigerator door and close it, insure you push the freezer door to close it

Absolute Trash

I would not recommend this fridge. Nothing put problems since I purchased it. If you need a small 24" fridge look elsewhere. The gasket around the door has never sealed properly and blocks of ice form in the freezer prevent cold air from reaching the refrigerator.

Have had an issue since purchasing

Great capacity in a small footprint

It occupies the same space that my previous "garage fridge" did, but due to its greater height, holds much more in both the fridge and the freezer sections. Worst Refrigerator I’ve owned!

I purchased this fridge a little over a year ago, it has given me problems since day one. The freezer control knob broke on the first day. Since then about every two month I would have to completely de-ice the condenser coils in the freezer, what a pain! Lost two fridges loads of food while owning this fridge. If that wasn’t bad enough the fridge has now started to make a humming noise at the back and will not cycle on anymore. I would not recommend this fridge to anyone! Stay away!

Leaks water into fridge

Like for a lot of other people, I started having problems with this fridge shortly after the one year warranty ran out. It began to leak water into the fridge and I was told by an appliance repairman that it happened due to the defrost drain being clogged and if it happened again to turn the fridge off and let it completely defrost. Broke within a year

I am so dissapointed, I thought going with a name like Whirlpool would be a smart bet. This product gave us problems within the first couple months, and now, it's not even a year out and the fridge stopped cooling. The freezer is still operating but not the fridge. Now I have to buy a new one somehow and I have no income over summer. It is seemingly impossible to try and get in touch with anyone to honor any warranty or try to get it replaced. So dissapointing.

Great buy!

Takes getting used to the see-through shelves but these are incredible! Lots of room for such a smaller unit. PLUS PLUS: TWO crisper bins, one very very large for the big veggies and one smaller for smaller veg like carrots or celery. Just above that, the special Cold spot for those items that really need to stay chilled like butter etc. Killer sized freezer as well.

Ridiculously noisy

The worst fridge ever

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Make yourself a favor and choose a different brand. This is the second fridge that we have and is leaking again. In less than a year stops working, so they gave us the same one. The new one is leaking also.

Noisy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fridge temp doesn't get below 40 F and cycles on and off constantly. Freezer fan control knob doesn't work and defrost fans are extremely noisy. Wouldn't buy again or recommend to anyone.

This company is the DEVIL

Bought this fridge a luttle over a year ago, compressor broke twice, they're going to install a third compressor that's surely going to fail again but this time it may just push it out of warranty, then they'll leave me with a broken fridge to deal with. DO NOT BUY, DO NOT WORK WITH WHIRLPOOL. THIS IS WHY THEIR STOCK HAS BEEN FAILING FOR THE PAST 5 YEARS. HORRIBLE PEOPLE

It's in my cabin now and it's not working

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the design, the size is perfect, but it doesn't work, the unfortunate thing is that since the cabin is not in a big city, Whirlpool is trying to locate a city near enough to the cabin to send a repair man. All the food I had in it has spoiled, and I have to wait an additional week before someone calls me. I think a better solution would have been you come and get it and you bring a new one.

Nice compact design

One good thing is that this refrigerator uses quite a bit less energy than my old refrigerator and it has reflected on my energy bill. I like the finishes on the unit and I apply a special hi tech wax to the surfaces for improved up keep.
