Excellent
Would RecommendHeated up quickly and worked very effectively. Only thing i would like better arroyo be a surcharge for the upper and lower temp Vs using the trigger to determine the temp. Not easy to maintain the low temp, to easy to over pull the trigger

Soldering Kit
Would RecommendI actually bought this when Item# 357336 stopped working for me. I decided to go cheaper because I was only planning on doing a couple of solders, but when my first iron stop working (it didn't even get hot), I went back for this guy. I can say that I am very pleased with the performance of this soldering iron. It literally heats up in seconds and I can still control just as easy as the others. I use this mainly for electrical/audio connections and it works like a charm. Also, make sure you get ...

Good quality soldering gun
Would RecommendEasy to get the hang of, especially for a beginner. I don't recommend it for small jobs like circuit boards and 22awg wire just because the gun is bulky. The 2 stage trigger is easy to use and the element heats up in seconds. Bought this for bigger projects around the house, will be buying the pen style iron for my rc hobby needs next.

Mix of quality
Would Not RecommendFrom the 30 minutes of usage with one of the supplied tips (before it broke), the hand-held components appear to be well made for the price. The tip quality is questionable. I've not yet decided on keeping it, but the market alternatives are limited. An old-style (as I used in the 1960s) version available appears on the surface to be the same, but is likely a clever cover for junk (based on multiple (apparently legitimate) reviews). Suggestions welcome.

Great!
Would RecommendI already had a Weller soldering gun that went bad, so I was a little skeptical about buying another one. The one just bought works great, I just hope it lasts longer than the one before it.

Great tool with one hitch
Would RecommendWhen it first arrived the second trigger stage was intermitted ar best. I was almost ready to return it but after a couple more projects it seemed to have correct itself. I suspect the second stage had an obstruction that prevented a proper electrical contact. Haven’t had any problems with it after its first few uses.
