Much improved

This is an improvement over past lights of this type that I have owned. The LED light will turn off when the lid is closed it has an improved light which covers a larger surface. A second light might be nice to reduce shadows.

Grill and Go light

Easy to assemble; the light works great. Great feature that it can be slid off and used elsewhere.

Not sure why others had issues with fitment but this couldn't have fit any better. Love the light at night and is a great compliment to an already awesome grill.

Quality product

This light is fantastic. The fact that you can easily remove it and bring it inside is great. It gives plenty of light while cooking and I love that it turns off when the lid is closed.

A grill light that works...

Admittedly, early to file a review, but after 3 uses on a covered Florida patio, it works well. Looks good and, unlike previous Weber grill lights Ive owned, you can actually turn this off when not in use instead of relying on the auto on/off setting. The auto on/off with the lid up/down has worked flawlessly this far and it lights up my Genesis 3-burner with Sear Station and side burner well.

Even better than I expected

This grill light is amazing. I didn't realize it had an auto on and off when you raise and lower the grill lid. It also must have a light sensor so it doesn't come on during daylight. It lights the whole grill and is really bright.

Works great. Has a timer and will turn off to save batteries iv you forget to turn off goes off when the grill lid is closed and comes back on when open. Clearly lights up the grill area. Used on Weber Spirit 3 burner. Larger grills may require two of them to light the entire surface.

Use mine often

I use mine everytime I Q in the evening, I live in Vancouver Canada and that means every time I use the Q October till March

I like that you can finally remove it and keep it inside with your other grilling tools to avoid water/weather damage.

Perfect light for our 2 burner grill

The light is perfect for our two burner grill. The assembly was a bit awkward according to my husband but once the batteries were in an the light was in place, it works like a charm.
