Replacement igniter kit
Igniter kit replaced older one and works fine. However the original style with the battery and hold down button was my preference, but that is apparently no longer offered.

Would RecommendI have a 20+ year old Weber Genesis Silver A grill. Decided it was time to replace some parts when I accidentally cut the hose on the connector to the gas tank. I had to push the igniter switch 3-4 times to get the grill lit so I decided it needed replacing. The install was pretty easy. It took about a half hour for two of us working together to change the tubes, igniter kit, hose and regulator kit and to check for leaks. Now the grill lights on the first push of the button!

Would RecommendI have a very old Genesis Silver A and over time (and with some abuse) certain parts wear out. Getting original parts from Weber seams to make sense when dealing with an older grill and ensuring safety. It was simple to replace and worked great. I didn’t have to worry that things would fit properly.
