What Customers Are Saying
The Weber igniter kit is generally well-received, with most customers finding it easy to install and effective in restoring their older grills to full working order. The replacement part is reported to fit well, and the grill starts up easily after installation. However, some customers have experienced issues with the igniter components rusting or deteriorating over time, requiring periodic replacement. Overall, the igniter kit is considered a reliable and straightforward solution for reviving older Weber grills, though users should expect to replace it every 5-6 years with frequent grilling.

New life to my grill
Would RecommendChatted with the online folks to help identify the best replacement part for my grill. My igniter plunger is rectangular, so it wasn't a perfect fit, but it was the spark piece that needed to be replaced. I used the spark and wire piece with my old plunger and it works great.

This is the third time I had to replace this igniter, only because a good part of the housing rusts and gets burned up. How about making the housing from stainless steel?
