If I was to rate this on how it works after the first second until you release the trigger it would be 5 stars all the way. The thing is, the first second it splatters big globs of paint and when you release the trigger it spits out more globs and continues to pour paint out the nozzle and all over the gun, tank and a few ounces on whatever surface you set it on. pros & cons

I painted my daughter's 12x12 room and i wore protective eyewear, mask and gloves as instructed. However, a cloud of paint particles formed and it took hours to air-out with opened windows and a fan. I also noticed a very light coat of white dust in other areas of my house even though i painted with the door closed. I'm not using this product again indoors. I'm keeping it only for outdoor projects. Also, the clean up time was average - about 20-30 minutes to get everything cleaned properly...

fast but far from smooth

Despite following all directions, the paint sprayer works fine but does not by any means leave a smooth surface. Do not expect professional results. It was fast and easy and no difficulties cleaning. Fairly accurate spray. I would not recommend for walls. Works fine in cabinet doors provided you dont have unrealistic expectations.

Trash

If you want paint everywhere except the wall you’re painting then get this sprayer. Thinned paint, mixed paint well, nothing helped, huge globs of paint shot out all over. Gets clogged no matter what. Save your money and do not buy this, it’s trash.

Terribly disappointed

Used to paint my fence, followed all directions carefully and it clogged and I couldn’t get it to unclog.

New and really improved

I’ve used these Wagner painters going back to the eighties. They were alright just alright. Whoever engineered this style of painters, i hope was well compensated. No more struggle with screwing the paint basin on the unit. The parts you clean are desperate to the pump housing which is easy to put on and remove. No more mess !!!

Love this thing!!

I bought this to spray new unfinished dining room chairs. It made it so much easier. Can't imagine the time it would have taken otherwise. Just wish the cup was bigger or it was a direct siphon from a gallon container.

Love this. The time consuming part is the prep work. there is about a 2 foot zone apart from where you are painting. Otherwise, this thing will speed up your painting by a ton! Very easy cleanup

It took me 3 days and 5 gallons of paint to paint landscaping walls 2 years ago. I bought this sprayer and it took 4 hours, including prep and cleanup! Also, only used 1/3 the paint!

Great Paint Sprayer for Home Use, Clogs Easily

Over all this paint sprayer was very efficient and got the job done quickly. However, it did frequently clog, wasting valuable time with hot water scrubbing. I have never used a paint sprayer that didn't clog so all in all, this model is on par with others in that sense. So far I have used this with both paint and stain and I am very happy with it.
