Don't do it.

Messy sprayer, spits out paint when turned off. Uneven amounts of paint come out and makes a big mess. Do not buy a Wagner. My neighbor lend me his wagner, after mine pooped out. It was just as bad.

Not worth it

So after weeks of reviewing and reading I decided to by this item. It worked ok for about 59 feet of staining fence days apart. I had 25 feet left and only made to 15 feet. Item stopped working completely. Tried troubleshooting and nothing. Luckily Lowes took the item back and went back the fence the good way, by hand.

Blobs

I used this without thinning the paint and thought it was me. Had a friend use it. We thinned the paint until it was unusable. No amount of thinning worked. Wagner is suggesting a paint conditioner, paint stirrer with a drill, etc once customer service was contacted. It’s beyond frustrating. I bought this because it specifically said paints could be used straight from the can. I had most of what was needed thankfully but I wouldn’t want to have to make more purchases to use this. Does not work

I bought this last summer. It did not work. Large blobs. I thought it was me until I had a friend use it and they had the same problem. Very frustrating.

Nice tool but not the end-all

My review is based upon three usages since being purchased. On the whole, if used exactly as specified, it works fairly well. In my opinion this tool is best used on projects that are typically hard to paint with a brush. E.G. wicker furniture, chairs, cabinets, etc.. If I am painting an interior wall, and I have painted many dozens over the years, NO way am I going to the trouble with this tool. I guarantee I can do a much better job using a roller. not an improvement over roler and brush

It is heavy and awkward to use. The spray is not even. Clean up is a pain. I thought it would make staining our fence quicker and easier, but after a half hour I gave up and went back to using a roller and brush.

Trash

Used it twice and it got paint in the engine and burnt out. Save the money and hand paint or buy and air sprayer.

Terrible quality

By far the worst product ever. Worked okay the first time I used it, although was not consistent. Second time around constantly clogs and sprays paint in big globs everywhere. Avoid and invest in a quality product.

Dear Wagner, I appreciate you responding. I followed all of the suggestions you offered to me after my first review of this spray, all of which I had tried before writing my original review btw. None of these suggestions worked! This sprayer just will not work for me. Maybe the one that I purchased is defective, but it for sure did not spray paint as advertised. Stay away!

I bought this thing to hopefully speed up the interior painting project. I followed all instructions and watched a couple of videos. It wouldn’t spray the primer. Had to thin then primer so much to make it spray that it ran so bad I had to roll it again. The over spray was so bad that i will be cleaning overspray off for weeks.

Worst Purchase Ever

I should have just rented a heavy duty sprayer because this thing is useless. Was trying to speed up the process of painting the interior of my house. Had to thin the paint so much to get it to spray out that paint ran everywhere and didn’t cover at all. Will need 2-3 coats. Then there’s the over spray, I will be cleaning that up for weeks. Sure hope they take it back. Don’t waste your money!

Quick and love it

Made the job beyond quick!

Great sprayer! Restained my cabin with a latex-oil blend and this thing made it so fast! Only cons is that it didn’t seem to use a lot of the paint in the container (bottom) before it would stop spraying and the clean up is a pain.

Spray Thompson Water seal, known to be viscous and difficult, like a charm. Easy to use and fast.

SO Much Time Saved!!

We used this on our 1300+ sqft home, and it was fantastic! Everything was so smooth and easy to apply. It would clog after a while, but you just clean it real quick, and keep going. Best purchase since buying the house in the fiest place!
