It does a great job. Easy to use.

Our trimmer has had one summer's worth of use as this review is being written. If I'm having my 15-year-old granddaughter mow the lawn, she uses this trimmer for areas where I'd worry about her using the lawn mower (working around rocks etc.). I've used it to clear weeds in large areas, and the battery holds up for a useful amount of time. I don't think I'd say that the battery is good for a full acre, but it's adequate for our quarter-acre lot. I think highly enough of this trimmer that ...

I used this for the first time. It is horrible. I had to fix the strings 4 times and then gave up. This tool is no better than any of the typical weed wackers out there. Highly disappointed.

Auto-feed is lousy...trigger is not variable

I bought this trimmer fro Menard's two months ago and have already used up more string trimmer line in two months than I would have used in six or seven months of yardwork in a typical season. I attribute this to the design of the trigger is either all of the way on....or all of the way off....You cannot "sneak up" on the edge of a flower bed to touch-up an edge of a paver or border without turning the trimmer on all of the way even momentarily.....when you do this the Auto-feed gives you more l...

Small, convenient, powerful & string last longer!

Bought this to replace my two-stroke weed eater, best choice i've made. It's powerful and the string last a great deal longer than what i've been using. Great trimmer!

Too long and heavy!

I purchased this thinking it would be similar to all my other Edger/trimmers I have purchased in the past. This one was too long and no way to adjust it to my height. No way to edge sidewalks and no roller wheels. It weighed so much and I’m 75 years old and this product was a very big disappointment. I returned this and ordered a much smaller one.

Overall Good

I bought this after my gas weedeater finally died. I fought the bump feed for about 2 years before that, so I was looking for something without that feature. The auto feed is awesome! I went through 4 batteries without touching the string. The only problem I have is that I have a decent sized yard with lots of trees and a 410 ft privacy fence. This caused me to have to charge in the middle of weedeating which is very annoying.

Nice little trimmer/edger

I have had this trimmer now for almost 4 months and was waiting to see how it held up and performed during the spring and summer growing months on my St. Augustine lawn. I must say it gets the job done nicely. I have always had a gas power edger for edging and prefer the look they deliver. If you expect this unit to deliver the some results you will be disappointed. But as I learned, one you have used the unit and ‘trained’ your lawn and yourself you will be happy with the results. ...

Could be better

This works great when you have enough line out but once it starts getting worn and shortens up it doesn't want to autofeed, have to pull the cap and manually feed more line out. Also the battery life is kind of lacking

Battery life

I bought this a couple months ago and the batteries last maybe 15 minutes before they need a 4 hour charge. Not sure if I just got bad batteries but this has been a disappointment.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this product to replace my gas powered trimmer. It was a hassle mixing the gas each time. This product works great even on tall grass and the batteries lasted a lot longer than I had planned. I wish that I would have bought it sooner!

Exceptional trimmer
